Finally a member of the booby club!!!
i'm just back from manchester... and have new boobies so happy. we left yesterday morning, my boyfriend drove me down. got a call when we were halfway down and it was the hospital asking if we could get there any sooner so they must have been ahead of schedule. when we got there i was shown to my room and i had to change in to gown and paper pants. then mr mounir came and we talked about sizes again, i asked about the 380 so he said he would see what he could fit in as he was not sure he could even get the 340 in! he did some rough drawings and then said he would need to do the drawings again later when i was under as they were not correct. then the anaesthetist came and checked me over, listened to my heart and told me he thinks i have a heart murmur!! i was quite shocked but he said it shouldn't interfere with op and to get it checked at docs when i got home. i waited about half an hour, and then was taken to surgery. there were three theatre medics there and they were lovely and friendly. the anaesthetist had disappeared somewhere so i was gettin a bit anxious! i had a wee cry, i was so scared! then finally he came and gave me the druuuugs, the last thing i said was "remind mr mounir to do the drawings again cos he said he got them wrong!! " then i woke up in recovery. didn't take too long to come round, and i had a peek... i had boobies at last! they were very far apart and so swollen in the middle but yay! so happy!... didn't last for long... was taken back to my room and then the nausea hit. they had given me anti sickness with the anaesthetic but i was feelin so sick. so they gave me some more and said try to eat something, so i had a bite of shortbread and a dried apricot but i felt worse. after half an hour or so the doc came back with different anti sickness stuff and gave me it. it hurt so much going in the cannula, but it sorted me right out mr mounir came to see me and said he could only fit the 340 in but that it was the perfect operation anyway, glad to be home, sorry if i've waffled on but i enjoyed reading peoples stories pre-op. i'll get some pics up soon. thanks to all for helping me with my journey to new boobies!! can't believe i've done it xxx
