This is bloody ridiculous - i still dont know if my surgery going ahead this week

I am just about at the end of my patience with the Belvedere hospital.

Was told on Wed that my surgery moved to another hospital

On Thurs I was told another surgeon would have to do it (supposedly mr khan can not operate at Highgate (where it has been moved to).

Then told the other surgeon (who I have met) may not be available.

I emailed the hospital on Fri - asked for a response by 4pm - nothing.

I called and was informed the coordinator (who i saw the evening before) was now on hols!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr khan said i could call his mobile - I did - no response and STILL waiting.

So my daughter is flying to her Grandmothers tomorrow (as I had no childcare), I have booked my hols with work and a friend has taken two days off to look after me - and after all that planning i still dont know if I will have surgery , where and with whom.

What sort of patient care is this!!

I am so mad, stressed and anxious.

Should I really be treated in this way when I am paying a considerable sum for a service?

Problems with my breast

Hi, o poor think, you must be really angry and I do not blame you! If i were you I would go to a different company, I had a very similar story with MYBreast (its a shame to say that they were scrab). I almost cancelled my opp!
I haven't written about it before, but I think that I should say that some people working there just do not care and do tooooooooooo many mistakes! I will be short : I have nothing to say about the surgeons- they are all right, but the customer service was not on the right level.
I had booked my appointments and operations (I also had a plans and booked a childminder and our holidays), and had to wait about a month for my first consultation. Just a few days before my consult. Ms S. (she was my patient advisor) cancelled all and transferd me to a different surgeon, without any explanations. I had to wait another month and half and was very pi....... with her. In the meantime she manage to booked my all apointments wrong, send me a receipt for a operation (I had a heart attack when I saw £4000 on the bill) and all wat she said was ,,dont worry, put in a bin,,. Silly cow she was, I had to call then each time to confarm the dates. She didn't take me seriously because I am forein but I kept all my written appointment as a proof. After my first consultation I had to book another one because she wasn't pleased to let me know what implants size I am going to have (I just forgotten to ask my surgeon). I had to take my son in a pushchair all the way to London, my surgeon was really suprised and said that she should tell me that, it is not a secret. Then, I avoid her, and call my breast with complaints. I said really hard words and all what I think about them, saying all mistakes. They are all about money so I said that I had paid £4000 and for this money I expect a good comunication, I also wanted to quit with them but I didn't. Then my operation was closer and closer, but I haven,t had admition time, and had to call them again. I spoke to 3 different people and they gave me 3 different time. As the result I came to hosp too early but never mind. To be honest I should try someone else, but anyway I had my opperation with them. Try not to be nice to them otherwise it will never end. Or try someone else, they should give you money back, its their lack of profesionalism. I wish you all the best and let us know what will happend soon.
ps. I also heard from another girl that her opperation was cancelled too with MY BREAST.

Thats just not on, I find this shocking. Would you not contact someone higher up and make a formal complaint. I have an email address for Samantha.West@mya.co.uk and I would write to her and ask her for the person in charge's email and phone number and write a letter of complaint. Dont let this lie hon, take it further. Its just not acceptable.

I think it is absolutely crap! and after all this you should get some money knocked off for the inconvience and stress it has coursed!!

Hi Alana - i feel now that my boob job is something I am not looking forward to - whereas for the past few weeks I have been so excited.

Its nearly as if I should be grateful to have the surgery.

It really is no way to run a business and treat people - i am very close to cancelling.
