Mills medical
I had a breast Augmentation recently at Mills Medical. Everything I experienced was first class. The hospital is amazing and the care superb whilst you are there. I have just had my second check up after a breast augmentation and all is fine. I had the operation with Mr Russo.
One good thing is that they all speak English which I think is really important if you are considering going abroad.
Good luck with everything

Heeeeeelp
I have just come across this forum and also this thread.......Jesus I have booked with Mills and after all I read I really want to cancel, girls any idea about what to do to get my deposit back ? I was so stupid to pay that in the first place, what do I do ? Will they be funny ?

You can
Hi
Like the H0p1ta1 Gru0p and WGA. Mills claim that once you pay your deposit you cannot back out. Rubbish. Its just a scare tack tick. You can and their legally bound to pay your deposit back in full if you decide the operation is not for you as goods and services have not passed hands. I have known a fair few girls over the last year who have decided to cancel their appointment with the H0p1ta1 Gru0p after hearing all the negative stuff and all got their deposits back in full after a few calls.
Normally after you make your intentions clear over the phone they will offer you up to £500 off to stay with them. Do not be fooled by this. Inform them calmly that you wish to cancel due to the negative publicity you have only just become aware of. Pm me if you need a number for a good solicitor if you need it, Please do not be put off with a solicitor as the price of a £10 legal letter outweighs the cost to your health or losing your deposit.
Good luck and please let me know how you get on

Dont let them fob you off
Mills could not not get their hands on my deposit quick enough either.......I trust that may well be the ususal practice of many companies. But dont get intimidated by them, i believe they are nice and charming before they got hand on your bucks but once you want to withdraw I believe they will quickly change gear. Thy have no legal grounds to keep your money, babes and I read they have so much bad press they would impossibly want any more!

Very pushy
I am currently doing my research about having my surgery abroad, had a consultation with Mills and will defo not go there. I found them very pushy and everything was very centered on the very "fabulous" price I would get (which was not fabulous at all). Read a lot of really bad press about them. I dont believe everything I read and rather go and have a look, but I have seen has not convinced me. Will check Elyzea.....

Do your re-search first, part 2
I did my re-search as I suggested to others in my post and based on that, I came to the conclusion that with more complaints on here and other sites than any other company that The H0sp1ta1 Gr0**p was not for me. Practises like Mills, WGA and The H0sp1ta1 Gr0**p are one and the same that has become obvious. They have the same amount of complaints between them mostly about Aftercare. Like in your post every company has its % of good and bad. However when you add all three company's I would say the % tips the wrong way for them. You only have look at the web site of Mills, Same UK based Hospital as the other two and same Surgeons. Like WGA that fact is never mentioned on their web sites. The fact that they are both a subsidiary company for the H0sp1ta1 Gr0**p. I feel that is an important point to make its sort of misleading towards potential costumers who want to make an informed choice based on all the facts before making that call. After all your going under the knife you want to know you are getting the best with no hassle. Thats why its best to do a 100% re-search first before picking up the phone. Sales people can be very pushy at the best of times.
Yes hilarious, and I must work for a rival company .
http://harleystreetsecrets.com/ws/2009/07/17/reputation-management-gone-bad / Reputation management gone bad July 17, 2009 I have just seen this article on the New York Times: Company Settles Case of Reviews It Faked. Do you wonder what type of company was faking the reviews? Let me quote from the article:
Lifestyle Lift, a cosmetic surgery company, has reached a settlement with the State of New York over its attempts to fake positive consumer reviews on the Web, the New York attorney generals office said Tuesday.
The company had ordered employees to pretend they were satisfied customers and write glowing reviews of its face-lift procedure on Web sites, according to the attorney generals statement. Lifestyle Lift also created its own sites of face-lift reviews to appear as an independent sources.
One e-mail message, discovered by the attorney generals office, told employees to devote the day to doing more postings on the Web as a satisfied client.
The company will pay $300,000 in penalties and costs to the state. It has also agreed to stop publishing anonymous reviews on Web sites in the voices of satisfied customers and to identify any content created by employees, the statement said.
I really liked this other bit of the article:
Andrew M. Cuomo, New Yorks attorney general, said in a statement that Lifestyle Lifts attempt to generate business by duping consumers was cynical, manipulative and illegal (the emphasis is mine).
What should we add? Lets hope that somebody over this side of the pond may decide to have a better look into some practices of reputation management, as they like to call this game.
Or this one

Mills medical
Ah but if that was the case here then all the posts on here would be positive ones and as you keep pointing out they are not.
I read in one of the newspapers, just before my op ,think it was birmingham post or manchester paper anyway irrelevant that the ... had merged with Mills...so if they are trying to hide and mislead why would they send out a press release on it?
and if Mills are in Spain offering treatment abroad and the ... are in the UK how again is that a conflict of interests?? surely its two different products.
i really cannot understand why everyone is so viscious about this.
any way back to my original message which was...MY experience of mills was a very very good one,the care and aftercare have been great and i would have no hesitation in going back to them again and that is all i wanted to say.
Thankyou

Ahh
yes 25 August 2009 just under two months ago
in a news paper months after the company had formed. nothing on there web site sites yet. Both offer the same here and in spain.
You have had a good expirance yes Aftercare has been great as you have not needed to fall back on it as you have had no problems as yet. Would you be saying the same if things went wrong and the Aftercare became zilch and your calls were ignored? I think not like other girls have pointed out.
It was the volume of the same that changed my mind on them as I was considering them at first. Im glad I did not after weeks of re-search.

Research is easy.....

Good one, August 2002!! its just a pity their official web sites never mention that months ago. I would disagree that its easy to re-search without bias. The H0st1al Gr0wp Management got their main company name removed from this site for good reason. You google the name and nothing but their press releases and main web site comes up. I can see the attempt here, censure the opinions stop the bad stuff from leeking out. I can understand why other people would be suspicious of a company that has its name removed on here.
I was interested to read its not just BAs where they have the same reputation. Yes there are positives posts but the general consensus is that the Aftercare is not so positive.

I'm a very happy ... rp customer as I've said on here many times and any one I've showed my pix to is equally impressed so for those of you put off by anything on this thread then think twice, because myself and my friends are delighted with our results and dealings with this group.

I was happy going to mills
i had a Tummy tuck and large lipo 2 months ago with mills. after the op i was very ill and my blood count was low, the staff were absolutely briiliant. i was due to stay in the hospital for 2 nights but they let me stay for 4 without any extra cost. when i was discharged i had peter the nurse calling on me everyday. you would not get that in any hospital private or not in the UK. i chose to have the apartment accomodation, amanda one of the girls from the office went and got me a load of shopping and on her way home from work popped in several times with bits and bobs for me. its unfair to suggest that just because they are now part of The ... that they are rubbish. i know i would not have had such amazing care in the UK and being abroad meant i was forced to rest. the results of my surgery are fantastic i can now see my toes haha and my scarring is spiderlike. going abroad is not a choice for everyone but it worked for me and im now thinking of having my boobs reduced at mills next year. i would recommend them to anyone. I hope you make the right choice Flo .

Mills medical
Im sorry but if you have never been to either of the hospitals and experienced their surgery or care can you really make a realistic comment about them.
the whole idea of these forums is to speak from your experiences so people can make the right choices. just because you chose to go somewhere else does not mean that all the other companies on here are incompetent. or just because you read a positive comment about them doesnt mean these people all work for the companies...see to me that type of comment does sound like a witch hunt.
lots of people go to mills and have great results some dont, lots go to harley medical and have great results some dont, lots go to the ... and have great results some dont. two people on an aeroplane on the same flight one has a great flight but for whatever reason the other one doesnt.. everybody is different. if we were all the same it would be a very boring world.
you are right though its important to do research and lots of it...have consults with all of the hospitals and then make your mind up....if you read everything on here you wouldnt go anywhere for surgery. aftercare is massively important and i so far cannot fault the care i have had from mills but then that is my opinion based on my true experiences......but then i work for them dont i haha hilarious.

" mills medical"
I had a breast augmentation there in September with Dr Russo. So far I am more than happy with everything. The hospital is amazing , the results perfect, and the after care no problems, I have appointments arranged to see Dr Russo .
The price was a bit cheaper than the UK, but I wanted to have a holiday at the same time and looked at a few countries. Mills name kept coming up a lot with good reports
I have seen one or two bad posts about Dr Russo and Mills on here, but I think you need to see for yourself and make your own mind up. On the forum there seems to be just as many good reports about surgeons and clinics as bad ones, everyone seems to have ther own take on things.

Bad aftercare
I would not recommend this company. My experience with their aftercare has been dreadful and time-consuming. I paid them for two procedures. After my nightmre experience with them they refused to refund me, and did in fact only do so when I threatened them with legal action. Hilarious. You really dont want dealings with tehm.
