Sports bra at night???

Hi girls, Im now 2 weeks and 5 days post op. Just wondering when it's ok to not wear my sports bra at night time. I did ask the nurse at my wound check about how long to wear my sports bra and she said 6 weeks
but I wouldn't have to wear it at night for the full 6 weeks. She didn't give me a definite time scale though. Just wondering when everyone else stopped wearing their sports bra's at night? xxx

Sports bras

Hi there,

I'm now 6 months post op and still wear a support bra at night, I just dont feel comfortable without one but everyone is different.

My surgeon said if I dont fancy wearing a support bra every night, to wear nightwear with hidden support as thats better than nothing at all

18 mths post op here

and I still always wear mine for bed .... just my personal choice of course .... but I want them to stay looking great for as long as possible

I didn't pay 4k+ to let them go to wreck & ruin .... I want them all nice and pert for a long time to come yet xx

Hi

My surgeon is not very strict on sport bras.
He told me to wear it for 3 weeks day and night and then another 3 weeks daytime only before switching to normal bras.
He also told me that if I didn't want to wear it I don't have to.
The result will not be affected. Although I need the support and need a non wired bra anyway.
I feel confortable in them so I like to wear it but I'm only 4 days post op.
I think you should do what feels more comfortable. x

Hey

Hey huni, after about 2 weeks i stopped wearing my sports bra at night! Your boobies need to breathe and relax and yes they do need the support when ur up and about during the day, but they could do with some relaxing at night time! xxx

Still do

I was told to wear it for 6 weeks but I am nearly 8 weeks now and I still do most nights. I don't feel comfortable without it. I am going to carry on wearing it alternate nights as it is supposed to help them not sag in the future.

xx

Hi ya
