5 wks post op still hurting inside only on 1 side

hi please help had 380 overs and my left side is absolutely fine but my right side is really hurting feels like a stictch inside pulling and my bra cuts in right on it - i cant ever imagine being able to wear an underwired bra - anyone else have this problem - i just want it to settle like the left one - i still find lifign my 21 month old daughter difficult as it really pulls - felling very down please advise girls thanks

Hiya, I'm 3 weeks PO and my right breast is sore, slowly moving from my arm pit into the right place Don't suppose any one knows how long it takes to feel "normal" again do they ......getting a bit fed up and feeling sorry for my slef now

hi hon i would not worry, i was exactly the same, my right breast really started hurting, i rang the nurse n she said you have layers of stitches n one has not dissolved properly n it was really painful n it really worried me, im almost 7 weeks n its still more tender on my right side.. the healing process is a long one n we get all sorts of twinges. the breasts heal differently, its like having two different ops..

Dont think i can help much but feel for you if still hurting 5 weeks post!!! I am only 9 days post op and had a pain for 3 days in one boob and that was bad enough? Have you spoken to your surgeon? He is the best person to advise you! Are you having a 6 week check??

Healing

They say your boobs dont heal at the same rate. Give it a bit more time and it should improve. If your anxious just give surgery a call for a check, even pop to your docs to see the nurse. Im nearly 5 weeks post op too, one of mine is fine but the other can still be quite tender, a little bit of incision not quite healed. Try not to worry and give yourself time to heal.
