Hi
Hiya hun I had overs as I have good tough skin (my surgeon told me) and I had a little breast tissue to cover the implant. there are pros and cons to both though, yes overs can sag a little quicker than unders, but iwhen your breast tissue sags when you have unders (and everyones will) you can get a double bubble effect. (implants high, nipples going south) Rippling can happen with both overs and unders. But as you got good thick skin probably wont get it. I know I didn't and I went from a 32A to 32F. With age both overs and unders are going to need replacing due to sagging, age, breast feeding etc, it's just a matter of when. Implants can last 15-25 years maybe longers, it's how your boobs look when your 15-25 years older which will determine whether or how soon you have a re op. If you have breast tissue to cover the implant then overs can look/feel more natural. If you don't have enough breast tissue to cover the implant then this is usually why they place them under the muscle to make it look more natural they need something to cover the implant or you end up looking really fake like victoria beckham. I didn't have drains, my surgeon (at tranform) doesn't use them and I have not heard of someone having to be drained twice, maybe she had a little complication with excessive swelling, it's good to know they were seeing to her quickly. Good luck with your choice. I'm glad I chose overs, but not everyone gets the choice. If I had to have unders I would have, I was just worried about the cleavage issue where they stay apart even in a bra there's always a gap, but not everyone has this. But both overs and unders are brill and look fab. So whatever you choose you will love them.
