Yeah im trying to shift my baby belly hehe, its frustrating tho as ive been really good and excercising not starving myself or going over the top but weight and belly just doesnt seem to be shifting LOL. I havent actually booked a date yet for mine tho im seeing a surgeon on the 17th so i should have a good few more weeks or more depending on the outcome of that consultation. xxx

im finding this quite hard as i need to educate my body badly. i dont eat much never have to be honest i lived on cups of tea and cigs with probly 1 very small meal a day if any. but didnt loose any weight realy due to starving myself ive been stupid over the last few years with my eating habits so im trying to eat healthy but ive got a thing about food dont want to eat things with much fat in although we should i no. so im really trying but think it will take time to sort my eating out but the excersing is helping tone up loads ill keep on with it and keep to my small 3 meals of home made veg soup, salads, lots of veg, chicken, fish and water.

thanks for your replys girls xx
oh and woop woop 1 week today for my op xxx

Hi
I have had my op, but before it i did weightwatchers online (dont do it online anymore but still point my food) I lost 2 and a half stone. I didnt want to lose it after my op.
I find weighwatchers easy as nothing is off limits (including drink) it just has to be pointed. I eat quite healthy anyway and dont eat meat. Just had to cut the naughtys. Hubby lost 3 stone.
Good luck hun
Sharon xx

I always told myself that if I was going to go under the knife I should do everything in my power to look as good as possible naturally before doing it.... so I'm on a mission too! only want to loose 3/4 stone and lost 5lbs to date approx 2 lbs a week by doing atkins but like the other lady not doing it to an extreme just cut out all bread potatoes pasta etc and eat chicken or fish with veg for dinner, salad for lunch with tuna or bacon or cheese etc and an atkins cereal bar (you can buy them in boots) for breakfast or snack (can't be arsed cooking eggs in the morning!!)
I am also very lucky to have a powerplate in my bedroom which is my secret weapon and thirty mins on this every day is enough to work every part of you!
At the end of the day its a bit like booking a wedding or holiday you now have a target date and a reason to do it which makes it much easier I guess...

Plus xmas is coming so plenty of recovery time stuffing my face! HA!

do go too mad and get run down though you don't want to get ill before your op!!!

xxx

You have been working hard! I have lost about 11lb on the Atkins diet with lots of swimming as exercise. I found it was much quicker than the usual weight watchers style diet (how i lost the other 2 stone very slowly) but not something that many health proffessionals would reccommend. I did it sensibly though and ate as many salad vegetables as i was allowed and stuck to leaner cuts of meat and fresh fish. Really hard to resist carbs though and you miss fruit.

I need a BA now cos I have lost all the stuffing from my boobs!

Hope this helps
Amy x
