Is anyones stomach really fat looking after op? like bloated??

please help!
im 5 days post op and my stomach looks huge!!!
any one else had this problem

Yes so glad im not the only one! been racking my brain as to what ive been eating this last week since my op and its really not much! Well certainly not enough to justify this fat tummy! Was thinking it might be because i havent been doing a lot just sitting around??
Hoping it will go down soon as i feel like a frump and wanted my big reveal to the world feeling super slim as well as big boobed LOL!

ha its awful aint it! not only gained big boobs, a belly too!!! mr problem is its that bloated its makin my boobs look small, not good!!! xxxx

yeah im bloated to wish it would go not bad enough wearin a sports bra and big band across my chest im now a chubba lol. ohh well hopefully it will go def worth the bloat out tho lol xx

I looked pregnant for at least 2 weeks after op it was horrid as u expect to feel like a glammour model but end up frumpy old cow until it passes!!! lol but it will pass its just ur bod coping with the op the only way it can. xxx

It just shows how different we are because I just kept losing weight and my stomac was tiny after op more like concave.
Didn't have much appetite and I have just started eating better its day 7 since op.
I'm sure it will pass soon.

Bloated

Im 3 weeks post op and still feel bloated , my husband bought me some new levi jeans today bless him he got the size right to what i was before the op its just my belly wont allow me to fasten the zip or button , i just feel soo fat. Hope it goes soon.

Yes. Started about 4 days po. Sadly coming up to 5 and still the same - boo! Going to rocky horror thur night and sod the sports bras - they're off and I'm wearing the basque and fishnets! But hadn't anticipated that would have to cover stomach so much!. I had implant in April as contreceptive and was warned you may not bleed. Spent 1st 3 weeks after on light bleed and then nothing since barring the odd spot (on the lighter side saved me a fortune in tampax). Could put it down to so many months without a proper period but very coincidental that no sign of bloating until now (6 months since fitted). I had a bit of a stressful time just before booking op and lost weight (not a religious stand on scales but jeans are a good measure - I went from fitting, to being too big the back and then to fitting again, but the gain is only on my tummy!!!) Have 6 week check with surgeon on thur next week so will discuss and let you know what he said...

Dont panic!!! Have heard loads of girls having the same problem- think its an after effect of the GA. It doesnt last for long so dont worry!!

Yes, apparently it is common after a general anaesthetic. I've read a lot of posts on here from girls who are bloated afterwards, so I asked my nurse if I should expect it and she said yes, and it lasts a few days. Just what you don't want, eh! But no need to panic or worry. X

I was like a telly tubby for 2 weeks after.
