Sports bra,support bra or post op bra ????

I was wondering if anybody can answer my question im having a up lift and implants on Tuesday and have been told to buy a sports bra, however i couldnt get one so i bought a post operative surgery bra will this be ok?? or does it have to be a sports bra. Im really nervous about the op about the pain afterwards. Does anybody know how painful afterwards it is? xx

Post op bra should be fine but you need more then one size.
Pain? I had BA 6 days ago.
I was very scared also about the pain told my surgeon to be gentle as he can.
Well I woke up from the general anaesthetic felt no pain whatsoever, thinking I was topped up with all sorts of painkillers. Anyway next day still no pain so didn't even bother taking any painkillers.
Its day 6 and the painkiller box is untouched.
Won't need them now as I'm back to normal.
I can even sleep on my side, drive do anything like before.
I did have a slight discomfort for 3 days but mostly itching and hot breasts which I wouldn't call pain at all.
I did have overs which seems to be less painful.
A head ache is much worse actually compared to what I had after surgery.
I was up on my feet 2 hours after surgery just couldn't believe it.
Good luck and don't be scared its worth it in the end even if you will experience some pain. x

Cant help you with the pain of an uplift as just had BA 10 days ago. I wouls say a post surgery bra is better than a sports bra as it is designed for the job! Sometines the sports bra can rub on stitches.You may have to get a couple though love.x. Best of luck on tues- You'll be fine!!!
