General anaesthetic options

Hi,

Im having a BA on the 18th of Dec and although Im really really looking forward to the end result Im terrified of the GA.

I have heard of patients in the UK having BA and Facelifts under a Twilight Anaestetic. Has anyone here had experiene with this? Or looked into this as a possibility?

Apparently its of lower risk then GA, pain free and prevents all the horrible after effects of a GA.

Be interesting to hear more about this.

Twilight anaesthesia

Hi,
Mr Aslam of linia healthcare offers twilight anaesthesia as an option for several different procedures. I had a BA with him at the cromwell hospital huntingdon on 7th august for which i was all set to have the procedure whilst awake, however at the last minute i changed my mind and had a GA. I had had a bad reaction to one a few years ago but this time i was absolutely fine with no bad after effects. If you look on the linia website there is lots of info including press articles of people who have had this done. Good luck x x x

yes i have read on here abuot it its called tiva mybreast do it in one of the london clinics it is ment to be better than ga a you dont feel sick after you can serch the old posts on here or just google tiva hope this helps
