Infection scar 5 wks help open wound weeping

have had pain and tenderness in my right breast after having 380 overs and went back to clinic today as last nite scar was open and bleeding and weeping they said i have an infection and gave me antibiotics and said that the dissolvable stitches have risen to the surface and caused the infection and i just need to take the antibiotics and wait for it to settledown - it just feels like the wound will never heal as i ahve 2 young children and am always picking them up - it is just sp sore and dont know how i will ever be able to to wear a normal underwired bra - am so fed up - i had transform mr khan.

i cant help u much hun but try to not let it get u down i know it is hard, but im sure if u take ur antibiotics and given time it will heal, have they dressed it for u and maybe u should leave ur bra off for a while as i imagine that wont help!! i hope it gets sorted soon as i have young kids and it is hard not to pick them up or cuddle them but for the time being try ur hardest not to. x x x

try to keep smiling take the anti-bs and dont pick ur kids up if u dont have to my son is 6 and still likes to be cuddled and carried up to bed he knows that i cant do that and if he wants a cuddle just cuddle my belly (as im short he is boob height on me) he understands but i think hes missing the closeness hes a daddys boy really but he do love his cuddles from his mummy. try to think positive x

I think i may well have the same problem developing..My left scar is hard and sore and I have picked out some stray undissloved stitches coming through the skin..My left breast is tender too, mainly around the scar.It wasnt this lumpy til a few days ago im sure.

I think its the stitches and the sports bra causing it.

Its hard not to worry or get down when things arent perfect but im sure that once the infection clears up the scar will heal ok and u wont suffer long term.

Sorry you're having a bad time hun. Have you got any kind of dressing or tape on the wound at all? If you're still not happy may be worth going to see your GP too? Good luck and hope it clears up fast X
