Numb!!!

hello girls - ok so i have just passed the two week po stage after having 505cc hp overs taking me from an empty b cup after having 2 kids to an e cup (sports bra) i am pleased to say i'm just about getting used to the size but definately don't look an e cup in clothes!

So i have finally got rid of the blisters i had from the dressings but i have 2 very important questions to ask all po girls!

1. My boobs are still numb round the outside and under my nipple! Is this normal? will the feelng come back or am i destined to a life of feeling like by boobs aren't actually part of my body?????
2. I still have plaster dressing over my stitches! I have cchanged them a few times but don't want to take them off before I should! So when is it the right time to take them off? Do I keep them on until my 7 week po check or should i take them off and start applying lotions or creams!!! I just have no idea of what i am supposed to do now and don't want to do anything that jeopardises my recovery x x

Hope you girls can come up trumps again and give me sound advice. You have all been great!

I hope to be postings my pics soon x

Po numb

hiya lyndsey

im 4weeks post op and still have a numb feeling but not as bad, my right is numb when i touch it and nipples are hyposensitive wish they had no feeling in them atall but hey thats one of the po thing ive ended up with... so the numbness will ware off hun its just where the skin has been stretched...and as for the plasteres mine were took off at my 10 day check, so think u might have to phone ur ps to find out hun, i was told not to use no creams or oils for 6weeks, but i think other girls were told they could so it prob best u phone up and ask about that cos u dont want to get scars infected....so congrats on ur big boobies and rest up and take care ur still earlie days..

nicki x x

Hi nicki

thank you hun - you are so great at replying to posts! I had a 7 day po check but surgeon changed plaster dressing and gave me spares to change after showers. My next po check isn't until 19 Dec but don't want to keep them on that long if i don't have to!

Ok certainly won't be putting anyything on scars as would hate to get infection and just hope the numbness goes after time.

How are you doing with your right boob now? Any better? x
