M&s dodgy measuring!!

i went and got measured in m&s yesterday as im now allowed to waer bras. i've always measured myself and been accurate but thought i'd check to be sure. i measured myself 32C (27" underband which gives 32 back and then 34" around the boobs, so a 2" difference which gives a C cup)

i went to m&s, she measured my underband, said 32, DIDNT EVEN MEASURE AROND THE BOOBS and then said 'your a 32 DD' !!!

which is rubbish, as i would need to have a 3"+ difference to be DD !

anyone else found m&s dodgy??

When I was pregnant I went to M&S to be measured and the woman made me cry, she said that I was a 42AA which was 'such an odd size we will have to order it in'. She gave me a cup of tea when she realised how upset I was but still, there was no way I was a 42, my husband could have worn it!

My Husband says Rigby and Pellar in London are the best but soooo expensive!

M&S will always get it wrong, they sell more bras that way!

32C new look fits fine, 34D in la senza for some reason, tho there bras always come up small (hence why they were the only ones to vaguely fit pre op hehe)

hi i went to bravissimo yesterday n they have put me in 30g, n they actually fit, could not believe it, i reccommend them, they are very proffesional..x

The women that measured actually rolled her eyes when she saw id had uplift and implants she was sooooo i wanted to complain but i was so embarrassed and she was wrong with her sizes too, told me to go for a 34" when it should have been a 36" and i was popping out of the bras she suggested. Bunch of gimps if u ask me. xx

hi funny they told me exactly the same, i tried bras n they would not touch me, i finally got measured at debenhams n la senza n im a 32f, slight difference eh.. they are usless, they should not fit bras..x

I was measured online as a 32-34 B-C cup LoL........I had 460 overs starting at 32A

I was measures at debenhams & told my cage measures between a 28 & 30 band & they didnt do any cup or bands sizes big enough for me they said if i could get away with a 32 band if it wasnt tooo big round me i could go for a 32 band........ i ended up being a 32 FF!
Im only 4 weeks post op so good Know what size ill end up being!

I also tried on many different companys bras in the 32 C cup & i couldnt even get 1 smidge off my boobs in them, they were tiny!!!!!!!!!
you just cant measure augmentated boobs & thats a FACT that why they go byut eye to guess ya cup & take it from there, they do all the 'checks ' once they have found your size to make sure its fits your body correctly.

didnt even messure me....just got approx 7bras to try on different sizes (32,34,C,D,DD) and still come home with one too tight (brought the 34DD)
Bravissimo done the same but one of there Ecup bra fit me!! (dont think so sunny jim!!!) i wish!!

I'm a 32DD although in Debenhams they told me I'm a 30F.
I found John Lewis to be the most accurate.
LaSenza is the less accurate.
So from now I just try on bras and just buy the one feels most comfortable and I'm not listening to any shop. xx

Measuring

ive not been measured properly yet im only for weeks post op, but like u i have always measured my self pre op and i was a 30band so add 4 gives me the 34 then around was always 36 wich gave me 2 but ive always been a b cup anyhow ive since measured myself using the same system and im measuring same band size and same bust size!!! but i know i am no longer a b cup im waring 34dd sports bra and ive bought normal bras and the 34d fits me lovely... its all very confusing...im gonna get my self done properly but dont really know whare to go as some woman have said diffrent places measure in diffrent systems and they end up diffrent sizes... but for now i will just ware my 34d bras when im aloud(cant wait)

Bravissimo are pretty damn good!

i went out to get measured the other day (im nearly 6 weeks po) and went to bravissimo. first time ever not being embarrassed getting that done! lol
they do it by looking at the bra your wearing and seeing where its ill-fitting. i was wearing a 34dd and she said it seemed too loose round the back so took it to a 32. she also said they were bulging a bit at the top so said try an f!!!!!! i was like really?????? thinking it would be miles out i tried it anyway an was so shocked how totally supportive an comfortable it was! they really know there stuff as i would never have suspected that size! im so chuffed though!
my surgeon said i should reach a dd but now im an f! whoo hoo! was empty 34b and had 430cc hp overs,

i know they dont have bravissimo everywhere but its worth checking hunnys xx

Im confused with bra size things online

ok girls please help...
i was a 32C/D 6 days ago before my BA. I had 460cc overs and im currently filling at 32F support bra very well.
Out of curiosity ive used about 7 online measurement guides and they have all said im a 32 D..this is noway accurate i was almost that before the BA and as im filling an F very well, why do they all say im only a D?? I feel gutted but surley this cannot be right, deep down i know its not...but y does it say thats what i am?? IM SOOOO CONFUSED...
