Alcohol - how long does it take to come out of your system/

hi,
did anyone have a drink leading up the their BA?
I am having mine on tues and going to a family party tonight and was wondering whether to have 1 or 2 drinks.
I havent had a drink for about 4 weeks.

Hi,

You've probably already been out and had a few drinks. I did the same 4 days before my op. I drank loads of cranberry juice to flush it out my system. You could also drink plenty of water but i cant stand the stuff so opted for the cranberry juice instead. Xx

I would say you'll be alright tonight. Rough guide is an hour per unit to leave your system so there shouldn't be any traces left on Tuesday from tonight. Best not to have any the night before for sure but I'd enjoy yourself tonight X
