Having breast uplift and implant, please advise me

Hi,

I am new here . After losing 6 stones in weight (going from a size 20 to a size 8) I lost all shape and volume to my breast. I have been left with droopy saggy skin and can't fill bras because of lack of volume and loose skin. I have fought hard for 10 months and have finally been listed for surgery on the nhs for an uplift (mastopexy) and saline implant. I am currently a droopy d cup (used to be an f cup when I was heavier) and the consultant thinks I will be around a good c cup. When I questioned whether I could regain a more lifted d cup he said that if he used too big an implant then I may look too 'round' and may be too big for my frame. He said he will be using approx 280cc implants. I don't really understand what this looks like in terms of breast size/apperance. Can anyone help me out?? also has anyone had this done, and does the extensive scarring fade over time?
I would be grateful for any advice whatsoever.

thankyou so much in advance.

Hiya

280cc seems very small, whats ur frame like are u quite tiny?

Hi

Hi
I had really saggy boobs especially my RHS and had 100gr removed from that side to even them up and full anchor uplift! But yes the scars do fade and then with the implants, god you just wont recognise your boobs so any scaring is definitely worth it!! I'm so pleased with my results I'm sure you will be with yours.
good luck

Hi,

thanks for your message. Do you mind me asking what size you went from and too? also what size implant?
I would be so grateful to hear from anyone who has had around 280cc implants and what size it gave them.

thanks
again
sarah

Hi

No problem,I know how scary it is and you just want to get it right.
I was an (empty) 36b/c. I had 330 on LHS and 300 on RHS as ps still felt I was still slightly larger on RHS. I'm just over 2wks post op and measuring 36dd. Round unders.

Hi hun.

First of all congratulations on loosing all that weight.
Well done.

I had BA 8 days ago had 360cc HP overs.
Pics are in my album if they are of any help look at them.
280cc sounds so small to me.
You have to trust your surgeon.
I'm sure he knows what he is doing, but make sure you show him some pics about the size you would like.
I took pics in for my surgeon and that's when he realized I wanted DD's at least.
I thought I only wanted C or D cup but the pictures really helped.
I'm a 32DD now. Love my boobs.
Don't want to be smaller or bigger they are just right for me.

The scar apparently looks less noticable around your nipples because of the colour change.
Shouls blend in well.
I think its worth having a small scar around your nipple rather then droopy boobs.
So don't worry. I didn't need a lift so didn't have that incision tipe but would of done it through my nipple anytime.

Good luck.

Jessie. xx

Hi Jessie,

thanks for your reply. I was a little concerned as I wanted to remain a d cup but the consultant said that as the implants get bigger, so does the flat base, and he said it may be too big for my frame or make them look too round or false. Don't get me wrong, I don't want the 'in -your -face -porn -star -stuck -on- look', but I want what I used to have really. I think I get to see him again at pre op clinic, so will voice my concerns again. I did read about one girl here who had 290cc (I think) who went to a d cup, but I know that everyone is totally different and doesn't get the same results.

Its such a minefield of info, and to be honest, for the last 10 months I have just been trying really hard to get funded with my GP's help and support. I suppose as long as they look fuller and normal again then I will be happy. I don't know if this helps but I am a small 32 back in my bra size, so this might impact on my implant options.

love
sarah

I ave put my pre op photo up for you all to see. I really want to now that after an uplift and a 280cc, do you think I will have a decent pair of boobs again or will they be tiny?

I am 5'5"
aged 28
weigh 9st 10 lb
size 32 c/d (just very droopy as you can see)
dress size 8.

Hi ya

Just to let you know- I had 275cc moderate profile partial unders 2 weeks ago. I am 5'5 8st 7oz and a size 8-10. I was a 32aa and was measured yesterday a 32dd. A few girls said that 150cc was approx 1 cup size but it cant be as at the moment i have gone up 5 cup sizes!!!!!! I know its only been 2 weeks but swelling seems to be all gone now! Its sooooo difficult cos i know you just wanna get it right 1st time!!! Do you think your surgeon understood what you wanted? If you do i think you should trust him!!! Good luck hun!!.x.
Love Jo.x.
