Implant feels like its rubbing against nipple ??!!

hi jsut wondered if any one had experienced the implant rubbing on the inside of your nipple?
i had unders 10 days agon and feels like mi implant moving around!!

and it's back

Thought it was getting better but now it's back. Complete with stinging and sharp pains that feel like a hot poker stabbed through my chest and takes my breath away! Getting funny looks at work...

Me too!

I know exactly how you feel. My left nipple and surrounding it its sooo sensitive. My right one is not as sensitive but is still painful. It is reassuring to know I'm not on my own and this must be normal, I also had unders. I am 19 days post op .

Getting better

Hey, saw my ps today, told him about the weird feelings and said I felt like my implant was moving about. He simply said "Well it's under the muscle so it can't be" Short and to the point! However the feeling is getting better and I'm not noticing it as much now, I gave my boob a really good massage the other night and it felt much better in ther morning, desensitising it a bit perhaps? I think it should clear up

hiyaa thats reasurring then, and thinkin about it hes totally right cos its under muscle ha
im not sure i could massage mine becos they are still very sensitive, i'll give it a bash though

Movement

I felt like my implants were moving, i had overs though. it seems quite common, the implant needs to settle into its pocket. Im over a year post op now, and at about 3 months it went all together. Your boobs will go through loads of changes and you will experience different pains and feelings most are normal but you should ask your ps if your very worried.

Hello - I am 3 weeks post op (partial unders) and you do get all sorts of weird feelings for a while, I know what you mean about rubbing the inside of your nipple, but it can't be as your implant is under the muscle. It is a weird feeling but I am sure it doesn't mean anything bad at all, its just muscles etc changing shape/healing.

I also get the implant moving feeling and I asked my PS about this and he said that's normal until the implant settles in the pocket

This may sound bad but I am so glad it's not just me!! I had unders almost three weeks ago and for past week been feeling it on left, especially when I change position and ESPECIALLY when I bend over. It's like I can feel the implant moving around. Was getting really worried but now feeling it on the right slightly too. So I think maybe it's just the nerves coming back to life and being hypersensitive.

I'm seeing my ps on Tuesday for check up appointment, will speak to him about it and tell you what he says

Will do hun, but am slightly reassured that it's now both sides for me,as if it was a serious problem it's unlikely it'd happen in both boobs, that'd be really unlucky!
