Back in July I had Smartlipo on my love handle areas that I can just never get rid of. I had the treatment in a London clinic and they said that I would see results from approx 1 month onwards...

I have just had smart lipo on my upper lower abs and love handles by Dr Krish Nulliah at QClinic, it's only been a week and i have already had to order a size smaller compression carment!!! So I am hopefully gonna get a good result. I was so nervous as Dr Nulliah doesn't seem to exist on the net but if you go into the bodysmooth cached site you'll see his experience and it's quite immpressive. I'm due back for inner thighs and bum at the end of July as he wouldn't do everything in one visit now i've seen the results i'm not so nervous about going back, do your homework go for as many consultations as you need a decent surgeon wont mind and will answer as many questions as you can throw at them.

My friend and I went to see Dr Krish Nulliah and first impressions I was unsure, he came across very matter of fact and looked even a little scruffy. However my friend had done some intensive research on him and with over 30 years experience and reading his write ups she wanted to go ahead with it.
She had buttocks and thy's done and was told it could take upto 3 months to show. He has called her everyday since procedure last week to check she is ok apart from slight bruising where incision was she has had no pain at all and after initial swelling, said she can see a difference already.

I am concidering it round my stomach and sides but am nervous he was so 'matter of fact' about it being 'so different from my friends procedure' (being in a different area and not having any children etc). He said I would see instant results.

He is very casual about his work but then again he knows what he is talking about after heading the surgery and 30 years experience. My friend is very happy so far. The building is no different to any other Harley Street really 'he' looked a bit scruffy but overall pleasant and building - well I have seen worse. I'm very much concidering having procedure?? anything else I need to know about him would be helpful??

please go and view the place and sit outside the surgery door? you never know when he pops out to the loo you will see the person on the table. it is not very private at all and not hygenic ,i am sure it has not passed a inspection. I had it done 4 mths ago and still can not see the reults

Did you have your Smart Lipo done with Dr Nulliah, only I am in the same situation as you and very nervous, Dr Nulliah now has his own clinic in Harley Street with i am considering for my Smart Lipo with aspiration any feedback to cure the nerves would be useful

Be vey careful and make sure they are registered with the Care Quality Commission. There are lots of doctors opening for a few months then closing up

Smartlipo-amazing results

I had smartlipo on my abdomen at the bodyperfectclinic in nottingham. The results are amazing. There are 2 doctors who do the procedure themselves. Dr Max takes his time and explains everything to you whilst he is doing the procedure. I felt really at ease. He has done 100's of procedures and I spoke to lots of satisfied patients who were at the client having post op check ups.

I am going back for treatment on my double chin and bringing my friends!!

i feel for all you girls, i dont no nothing about this smartlipo the cost or anything but surely if they told you it would work and it didnt you are entitled to your money back. thats like saying i had my boobs done 3 weeks ago and coming out of surgery i was stil an 32aa i would fight and fight until something got done. i would definitly consider taking them to court especially if they did not warn you there was a chance it would not work.

Smartlipo scotland???

Hi, has anyone had the SmartLipo in the (apparently only) place that does it in Scotland? I have been soooo desperate to get it done and the money is the only thing holding me back, but would like to kow that this place has had good results. PLEASE respond if you have had it there, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

I have had smartlipo in the place in scotland. I'll be honest, I arrived there alone and the house was in the middle of nowhere and the surgery you get the treatment done in is a room in the doctors house which unnerved me somewhat. However the surgery was immaculate, the nurse that was there to assist was exceptionally friendly and it was an ok experience. However after 6 months I don't feel I have adequate results considering it has cost me £2k to get my abdomen done. I am apparantly the ideal candidate for the treatment as I am a size ten that exercises regularly and eats healthily. However I am returning to the surgery next month to have the treatment repeated (free of charge) as I expressed my concerns that it hadn't worked and the Doctor was happy to re-treat, so really I can't fault them. If you want I can get back in touch after my second visit and let you know how it goes?

I know loads of people who have had smartlipo and it hasn't worked, one of my friends works for a doctor who admits that the machine is pretty crap. She said even the company who made it have had to try and bring out a better machine because they are getting so many complaints. I think there are a few more newer machines out there which are better. Think there is a new machine from france coming out soon which is better.

Vaser liposelection

I had smartlipo twice last year and it didn't work either time. I have heard you can get some very minimal results if they aspirate. I found out about a new treatment called vaser liposelection and had it done last weekend by a doctor who was being trained, it uses ultrasound and aspiration. I had my abdomen done and it is already looking great. I must admit I was very sceptical but it really has worked, worth looking in to.

I also heard that Dr Ayoubi has left Swiss Care Clinic, it seems it wasn't big enough for him

I had a consultation with Dr Ayoubi November last year. I just want to tell you that I was very apprehensive before I came to see him. During the consultation he put me at ease by thoroughly explaining the options available and process. I was very impressed with his professionalism and enthusiasm.
Late December last year, I underwent Smart Lipo. I have to say that right from the first week onwards and still now there has been a magical improvement every week.

I would like to thank Dr Ayoubi for his superb expertise at his craft and would have no hesitation in giving a recommendation.

Dont do smartlipo

I had Smartlipo last April on my arms.Yes,almost a year later i still have dreadful bingo wings!No results at all.I am so upset that i paid so much money for nothing.I wish i had read this forum before going to this London clinic.After speaking to the doctor it looks like i have lost my case.No refund.Has anyone else got their money back?The london clinic( i would love to tell you all the name)claims i must be one of their few unhappy clients.......but after reading this site,i fell i am not alone.They told me to diet and work out more..Please if you consider lipo DONT DO SMARTLIPO!!Can anyone let me know if they had arms done and if it worked!I dont know what to do and consider legal action.Any tips?

Botonics smart lipo

I had smart lipo 2 months ago now at a botonics clinic, my doctor put my mind at great ease which i think made a huge difference to the experience and since i've found the results amazing! really think it's taken away that extra little bits i just couldn't shift on my own. I can't wait to go summer shopping!

I had smart lipo at Botonics.Sadly I had no results.It has been a fight to have the clinic redo the Smart lipo or refund.
Sorry to say I had no luck!
Take my adviceONT USE BOTONICS.

I had smart lipo with him on the 10th of June 2008. I had six sites done, and let me stress that I did not find it to be a lunctime procedure, there was some discomfort, it took over thre hours and yes you are sore afterwards. At least take the next day off work. I found Dr Haig to be professional, expereinced, (he claims to have done 9,000 of these procedures) and his back ground as a surgeon gave me faith in his ability to do this well. I also found him very reassuring and helpful and despite it being an invasive procedure I did not find it awful. When I had problems iwith my antibiotics, which was all my responsiblity, Boson were quick to sort this out and returned my call almost immeidatley.

The down sides were that I feel that they should really offer you two compression garments becasue you need to have them washed and you are then without support during that time. Also I think his assistant may need a little customer care training, when I asked, in that awkward silence before it started whether she had this done, she said "No , just have good genetics" Gramatically incorrect and well just plain rude. She also said this to another woman they saw that day and it was the source of some humour between us.

In summary I found Boson to be professional, and the proceudure to be intense but not difficult, however the proof of course is in the result, I can't tell yet, I am too swollen but I will keep this page posted.

I know its early days for you, going by when you posted your e-mail. Just wondered if you've noticed any improvement ?? I've been on the telephone to James Bose this afternoon to arrange for smart lipo on my inner thighs at Boson Healthcare. He mentioned that Dr Haig would be surgeon.
I was so excited with the special offer that I very nearly booked it up. I've been reading all the different storys.... Now I'm in two minds, whether or not to have it done. Even though the price is good, its still alot of money to throw away if it doesn't work.

Hope your recovering well, really would like to hear your views. Best wishes.
