Mr mounir- getting nervous now!
Hey girls, I'm due to have my breast op on 18th Feb with Dr Mounir - Transform, anyone else at abbey pines that day? I have a mixture of emotions now as the day approaches, I'm so excited at the thought of my new boobies but I'm feelin sick at the thought of surgery, keep worrying about things going wrong and wondering if it is all worth it, not sure I'm doing the right thing, god I'm such a chicken!!! It's made things worse as I've read a couple of bad reviews about Transfom on recent posts which is a bit unsettling. Please can someone put my mind at ease I'm a bag of nerves. Also would be graet to hear from anyone in on the same day. Does everyone feel a bit nervous? x

Hi
Hi
I am at Abbey Pines the day before but with Mr Russo. And snap...I am going through the same emotions, and now worrying about whether I will miss my small boobs! I have to keep getting my boyfriend to tell me I am doing the right thing. The surgery will be fine tho..don't worry about that.

Hey there!
Hi, gosh you're brave! mind you I suppose you know what to expect this time so that must be reassuring. What size are you hoping to be? I'm hoping to be a C/D cup, currently an A, but not long now. You'll find it good talking to other girls on here, I have found it a great source of research from real girls, not just the glossy hospital brochures. Whenever I feel nervous about it I come on here and I always feel tonns better afterwards. good luck xx

Dont worry
Hi Shellyanne! I know its easier said than done but honestly, there is nothing to worry about! Abbey Pines is lovely, nice and clean, friendly and helpful staff who put you so much at ease and its not even like a hospital! Dr Mounir is fantastic, i am so pleased with my results! Was 32aa, was measured at la senza at the weekend (was 9 weeks post op) and im now a 32dd!! I couldnt believe it, i was looking at 32dd bras for ME!!!!! Had 340cc high profile unders, i went with Dr M's advise and went for the bigger size as i was thinking about going for 300cc! I was hoping for a full c cup and came away with dd so i couldnt be more happier! Just remember this is something that youve wanted for a long time, try and be more excited than nervous! I went through the same thoughts the day before i had my op but when i took my before pics and had a look at them i knew 100% i was doing the right thing! I cant fault Transform, they have been fantastic throughout my whole experience so far! Im due to see Dr M on the 13th Feb for another check up! I wish you well with your op, just enjoy the experience! Im not sure if ive helped but i hope so! H x x x

Hi hayley!
Nice to hear from you again, that must be amazing getting measured at a double d!! I can honestly say I have never been measured properly i've always been too ashamed to get them out! I'm gonna take your advice and get my fella to take some before pics for me at loads of different angles, I know it will help, it will also be a good comparison for afterwards. The thought of summer holidays helps too, as I dread putting on a bikini, so that will be good to buy whatever bikini I like instead of choosing one with plenty of padding!lol Hope your check up goes well, I'm so happy for you, it was obviously the right thing for you to do. shell xx

Hi again shell
Nice to hear from you too! It was amazing, i just couldnt believe that I am a DD! As of yet, i havent found a really bra to give me a good cleavage but i think i still have some settling and softening to do so maybe in a few weeks i will be able to move them about abit more! LOL! I was never measured before my op, i was too ashamed too and didnt want to hear them say how small i was! Taking pictures is good, also throughout your recovery as its then when you notice how much they change on a daily basis! I went to aquaaerobics last night for the first time after my BA and i was actually proud of myself for a change rather than trying to hide away! I actually wore a swimming costume with no padding whatsoever! Theres no way i couldve done that before! Its just made me feel so much more confident knowing that its not just all padding anymore! It DEFINATELY was the right thing for me to do, i have no regrets at all and loving having boobs! Im sure you will be the same when they start to feel like yours! Im hoping my check up goes well too, only a few weeks to wait now! Take care! H x x x

Hi hayley!
Hiya again! I had my pre op on friday and the nurse mentioned Arnica tablets and said it was up to me whether or not to take them, just wondered if you took them and how long for? Not really sure if I need to take them, I'm not one for taking tablets unless I need to.
Ooh I told my dad on saturday, he wasn't too happy he said I'm fine just the way I am but I suppose it's difficult for him to understand, mum was fine though I think she understands how much it means to me, it feels wierd talking about it to my family. I'm worried about people at work finding out, i'm gonna try and keep it quiet (if that's possible), although I know it's right for me I suppose I'm a little ashamed about letting other people know, I worry that their perception of me will change or people might think they have the right to stare. Have you encountered any problems?

Hi
Hi I had Mr Mounir back in September (now nearly 4 months post op) and like the other girls on these replies - i could not fault him at all - i am so pleased with my new boobs. I went from a tiny 32aa to a 32d and love them - i trusted him with the size on the day - he has done a wonderful job - i had 300cc unders. Abbey Pines was lovely and although i was a little nervous - i just thought this is what i have wanted for so long....
Anyway good luck - i am sure that you will be more than pleased with Mr Mounir and the results.

Hello
I am nearly 6 months post op now & I had my BA with Mr Mounir at Abbey Pines, and I can honestly say my hole experience was faultless... the staff we're all lovely & really took care of me. Mr Mounir is an amazing surgeon, I am over the moon with my results (I had 380cc hp), took me from A/AA to D/DD cup.
Don't worry too much, just go with the flow.
Good Luck!!

If it helps.....
I'm having an uplift and BA at transform on 26th march and I wake up in the night in cold sweats!!! God knows what I'll be like the night before. But it WILL be worth it. As far as seeing bad reviews, I think its fair to say that some people have bad experiences with most of the clinics, whilst equally others have exceptional experiences. I can't fault Transform so far. You'll be fine. Jacks

Hi Dawn, It does help to know there are other people who are nervous! I suppose it's a good kind of nervous though because the outcome is something I have wanted for years, so I'm looking forward to a new me, I think I will be far more confident and I can't wait to get in la senza and anne summers for nice underwear! lol I'm having 380 unders I hope to be a C/D too, I'm currently an A cup. I have my pre op on Friday and I'm a bit worried about that too. I'll let you know how it goes shell xxx

Reassurance
Hiya, Don't worry, nerves are normal! I had Mr Mounir at Abbey Pines at the start of OCtober last year. Im VERY pleased with the results and think he's a great surgeon. Shape, size etc are just what i was after and my scars are extremely neat. I've actually seen him today for one of the follow up visits.
