Hi has anyone carried on smoking and had a breast lift with implants

ive just had a reop 6 days ago n never cut down before,3 hours after my op i got up and went for a smoke. Not even when i had my original op last june
as they say best to give up cos ov healing etc but ive not had no probs, sum ppl say that the surgeon wont operate if you dont give up tho.
if they ask you on the morning of your op dont lie just say yes i smoke n yes ive had a few before i got here, least then the anethatist (spellin) will be aware

Hi, try as i might i couldn't give up. On the day, I told my surgeon I had given up as was worried he wouldn't do op. Managed to cut down a bit for about a week after probably as seeing the fresh wounds made things more 'real'.

am 7 days post op and didnt cut down before or after - i managed to go without one in the hospital but could'nt wait to get out so i could have one! Its bad i know but i tried before christmas and the stress did me more harm!
