Hi

Thanks for the replies, i guess il just have to wait and see how i feel when i wake up.

Happy healing everyone xx

Hi

I had my op last Thursday GA made me feel pretty rough and they gave me codiene and paracetamol which seem to knock me out for the first few days so i stopped taking the codiene and everything is fine.

I can move about, get dressed, find i slightly difficult to brush my hair fully and reach for things in high cupboards (make sure you move all esssentials to lower cupboards if on your own).

Make sure you dont do too much, i did some cleaning yesterday and felt really rough last night.

Take care, hope all goes well x x

Hi!

could go to the toilet and dress myself straightaway and the next morning i had a bath did my make-up - it was a bit difficult to straighten my hair but i could move about fine. Getting up from lying down was a bit painful but you'll find your own way im 7 days post op now - good luck xx

Hi

Thanks Kay,

That is a long journey! I am having unders so hopefully wont be too uncomfortable. 10 days post op- are you driving, back at work..xx

Hevs1

hi,

no not driving yet but probably could if i needed too. i have had my husband at home which has been a huge help. not working at the mo as i have a little one at home, well i've got 4 but the other 3 go to school! if, however, i was at work i would say i wouldve been ok to go after a week. first few days were abit harsh but then after day 5 i've found everyday much easier. it's so hard to gauge coz everyones different but hopefully you'll be ok,

Hi

hi

i had mine done 10 days ago and i was fine when i came round. as said before everyone's different. i was up and about straight away. bit uncomfortable naturally. went as a daycase and travelled 200 miles home the same day!! i also had overs though so i can't comment on movement etc with unders. good luck with your op,

Everyones different

I was unlucky and was sick as a dog after my BA, the anesthetic made me so ill, I slept and threw up then slept then threw up i was gutted as i was looking forward to the food that highgate had to offer LOLOLOL!!

the next morning tho i was fine, got myself dressed etc and my friend picked me up, i took a sick bowl with me as the roads were quite bumpy and it made me feel nauseous.

As said my friend breezed through hers, no problems at all.

Goodluck im sure you will be fine hun xx

Hi

Sorry to hear you were poorly hun, thats the thing with the ga you never know how you're going to react to it.

Just hope im able to do the normal things like get dressed, brush teeth..xx
