"Try not to worry" Posted by formallywantboobs 15 May at 22:43
Just try to relax and don't think abnout it hun. ur body's been through a trauma and needs time to re-adjust. the anaethestic messed me up for a couple weeks. i had this feeling too. especially the heavy head.
keep an i on ur bp. get it checked weekly by the nurse at ur gp's surgery. i suffer with high bp and in fact i thought they'd cancel my op on the day as my bp was 169/110 but they still went ahead.
I too eased up on the pain relief early in the hope that wld sort me out butu like i said it went on for a while.
remember - u really have to rest as much as u can with out making urself bedbound.

I'm 2 weeks post op....I am always getting shivers exactly like you said...someone walking over my grave!!
i asked nurse she said its the nerves healing, the tingling sensation is the nerves reajusting, just very sensitive.
However, I do feel likes its all over sometimes - i know what you mean...many women seem to have had this, so i dont think its uncommon

I get really cold all the time and shivery. I was told before I was discharged from the hospital I may have this due to the GA wearing off
