In terms of traveling, as I know some of you out there are off shortly after like me; the advice: I'm off to hot hot Turkey in exactly 1 month - no swimming for 6 weeks, but I can sit in the sea and the water can make contact with my wounds if healing has taken place by then. Also, he encourages scar gentle massage after 2 weeks to avoid lumping. I know this technique from a birth mark removal many years ago, and know what can happen if you DONT massage. Lumps are guaranteed.
Anyway, Im home and alert. BF is sound asleep on couch. He's been a gem. So supportive and my little helper. I worry when he goes to work on Monday I'll be on my own for the day, but I hope all will be okay. I'm on summer holidays for several weeks, so can take time to recuperate properly.
