After the birth of my third child when I was 37 I have piled on weight - one of the worst problems is that I can't buy knickers. Nobody seems to be selling anything bigger than a 6XL and as I am about 55inches round my hips they just don't fit. Any ideas, anybody.

Thanks for the two replies with suggested links.... but neither was of any use; laurensilva is like so many of these underwear sites, lovely stuff, but they don't go above 5XL. I think I what would be about a 7XL.... if anybody out there was making anything that big.... and I'm afraid to have to admit that I'm not after glamour, I'm just after some knickers that fit comfortably!

I've found some! Big knickers, I mean!!!! A company in Cornwall make them up to 8XL..... they were advertising in a local paper for big women to try on a new style they are working on and send them feedback. Apparently, its three thin women who set up this company, so they need some big women to try out the knickers! Anyway, I'm sorted. They are called www.thebigbloomerscompany.co.uk, silly name actually because they don't make bloomers in fact! But if you key 'big knickers' into your brower they come up.
