| Thread started by: | "Fussy underwear shopper in need of help!" Posted by tamoo1991 13 May at 14:19
I am looking for a bra thats the perfect fit firstly - I have no Idea what size I am as every shop I get measured in tells me different. my first question is, how do you measure yourself? Secondly, I know that I am relatively small, and My boobs are far apart so there is not alot of cleavage. I want a bra that brings them in, and pushes them up. any ideas of a brand that will do that, look great without cover (i.e. in the bedroom) and which is affordable? (I get £30 a week EMA). I did say I was fussy. if you think you can help, I would really appreciate it. Cheers Moo

Hi there, I agree with everything jeannie117 has said: measurements do vary from shop to shop but if you would like to measure yourself, try: http://www.tempestra.co.uk/fitting-room-c136.html - it gives you step by step instructions as to how to go about it! If you prefer someone to do it for you, then the best places are Marks and Spencers (try for a more experienced sales staff member) or John Lewis if there's one in your area. Once you get to know your size, the best shops are Marks and Sparks for high street shopping or Tempestra for online retail(Triumph are the most generous and true in their measurements). In terms of cleavage enhancers, try: http://www.tempestra.co.uk/padded-push-up-bra-i233-.html - £11.50!!! http://www.tempestra.co.uk/famous-curves-underwire-d-push -up-bra-i553.html - one of the best out there http://www.tempestra.co.uk/pure-desire-underwired--padded -half-cup-bra-i73.html http://www.tempestra.co.uk/floral-plunge-bra-and-m-atchin g-thong-set-45000s-i520.html http://www.tempestra.co.uk/lace-and-satin-underwir-ed-bra -45015-i511.html
If you also check the home-page: www.tempestra.co.uk, there's a 20% off everything sale at the moment (home-page for the voucher code) so you could even own a couple for 30 quid easy! What have you to lose?! All the best with your search.

All of those bras are great and from a site I enjoy a lot!

And that is the rest of their selection.

Here's a site I found that gives a step-by-step procedure in measuring your size. http://www.007b.com/bra-fitting.php
I understand that different stores can give different sizes for you. From the measurements they gave, was there a common size, like band or cup size? Also, remember that different bra brands can differ in sizes from each other. Maybe that would explain why they have different measurements. You can also try on the bras and see which feels comfortable for you, regardless of its size.
Are you an A-B cup? Maybe a push up bra goes best for you. Go for something that has pads or a bra that can fit silicone inserts inside. Try a padded bra like this: http://www.laurensilva.com/Britnie_Padded_Bra_p/af-fi-af-w7-b01.htm
