Fussy underwear shopper in need of help!

I am looking for a bra thats the perfect fit firstly - I have no Idea what size I am as every shop I get measured in tells me different. my first question is, how do you measure yourself?
Secondly, I know that I am relatively small, and My boobs are far apart so there is not alot of cleavage. I want a bra that brings them in, and pushes them up. any ideas of a brand that will do that, look great without cover (i.e. in the bedroom) and which is affordable? (I get £30 a week EMA).
I did say I was fussy.
if you think you can help, I would really appreciate it.
Cheers
Moo

Push- up bra

To measure your size follow the instructions at http://www.braandpants.me.uk/bra_size.aspx and then the phrase up a cup down a band. So if you are a 32B you might find that either a 30C or a 34A may fit better depending upon the brand you go for.

Push-up bras will acheive the effect you are looking for in the bedroom. If you can afford it go for either air or gel filled padding since this gives a more natural feel.

Well fitting bra

I fit ladies in bras in my shop and don't use a tape measure. I would usually equate bra back size to dress size. It's not perfect but it gives you a good place to start. If you are a size 8 or 10 you are probably a 30inch back. Size 12 - 14 32 inch. 14- 16 34 inch, 16- 18 36 and so on.

Once you found the back size you can move on to the cup size. For the effect you are looking for you will need a cup size that's too small. It's a case of just trying on some to see how you find something to fit. If you boobs are far apart you could try a low padded half cup. It will push your boobs up and make them look ample and full.

Hope this helps

Here's a suggestion...

Here's a site I found that gives a step-by-step procedure in measuring your size. http://www.007b.com/bra-fitting.php

I understand that different stores can give different sizes for you. From the measurements they gave, was there a common size, like band or cup size? Also, remember that different bra brands can differ in sizes from each other. Maybe that would explain why they have different measurements. You can also try on the bras and see which feels comfortable for you, regardless of its size.

Are you an A-B cup? Maybe a push up bra goes best for you. Go for something that has pads or a bra that can fit silicone inserts inside. Try a padded bra like this: http://www.laurensilva.com/Britnie_Padded_Bra_p/af-fi-af-w7-b01.htm
