I have a bit of a head cold at the moment,going by my dates I am about 5 weeks pregnant.Seeing the doctor on Fri to confirm. What is safe for me to take for this cold or am I better off just putting up with it.

i had a cold early on in my pregnancy an i never took anything only cos i wasnt sure either but my mw says u can only have paracetamol, if u crush it up and put it in hot water and add squeezed fresh lemons and honey it works as a lemsip but it wont harm the baby try that hun x shell&13wk bean

Hey same as you, last week I was 5wks, had a head cold and caugh up chest. Went to doc and he said I could take paracetamol and vicks....whipdedoo!lol So made up the crushed paracetamol/honey/lemon drink (homemade lemsip) was rather pleased with myself! Did help a bit, but its hard to shift and I think its one of the syms!lol
