"Help temps are confusing me "

I have been taking temps for first time this month. I have been taking temp 1st thing in morning and its been between 36 and 36.3.

I should be OV now as its 14 days til next AF (not) due. I have too much drink last night so was hungover, and I forgot to take my temp until after my shower. Its was 37.4!!
So i thought thats prob due to shower and the drink. Just taken it again and its 35.7!!

Whats going on?? Do I not OV do you think??

thanks Stresshead Lea xx

Hi there, im just as confusted as you. When I suspected that I was starting to ovulate last week my temps were around 36.3 - 36.7. Two days ago my bbt was 37.2 and today now its 37.4. How long does it take for it to return to normal? I will keep searching the net for more info and if I find anything out I will let you know.

your temps will b easy to understand when u have one completed chart then it will all click into place. U need 3 higher temps to confirm u have ovulated and they usually stay up til a day or 2 b4 af, sometimes there a couple of low ones mixed in, alcohol definately affects them makes them a bit higher, stick wiv it u will b experts this time in 2 months!

Good luck ladies x

i didn't know that - the temps stay up til a couple of days before AF? I thought they were up for one day when you OV and then go back down again.
You learn something new every day!
thanks xx

yeah I use feritily friend - so I'll miss today then, I definitely think the booze and the hot shower affected my temp.
And I'll BD tonight anyway just in case I still haven't ov'ed.
I was supposed to be doing the sperm meets egg plan this month but its too technical and confusing so its been binned, this time around anyhoo

thanks girls, can always rely on you!!
