I used them once and they showed negative the whole time. I knew they were dud as soon as I got my BFP 2 weeks later.
Good luck girlies - baby dust to all.

"Bit expensive" Posted by sam280597 9 February at 18:07
i went through about 30 last month, suppose its v hard when you have no idea when your supposed to ov. i got loads of faint lines too.
think i may have to re-mortgage the house and invest in the clear blue, tearing my hair out at the moment thinking i didnt ov.
good luck ladies xx

"Lol" Posted by busteebird 9 February at 18:11
i know what you mean about the cost. ppl say kids arnt cheap, BL**DY TTC ISNT EXACTLY CHEAP EITHER! lol. suppose im quite lucky cos i can pretty much pinpoint when i ov so a pack of ov tests may last me 2-3months. i usually ov on cd 10 or 11 so its just a case of testing just to confirm. xxx

"And me!" Posted by dublin99 9 February at 19:49
I have tried dozens of them and thought it was just that i wasn't ov'ing.
For another alternative, I'm not sure how intune with your body you need to be, but apparently if your cervix is easy to reach and hard you're not about to ov. If it is nearly ready it'll be a bit further up and softer. If it's high, soft and moist (sorry TMI!), then you are ovualting and get jiggy with it.
You just have to squat to find it and not fall over whilst laughing at yourself :-0
I may well be the last to know on this, but at least it doesn't rely on any 'will it won ... work' gadgets.
You do need to make sure you have short nails though as it could be mighty painful.
Best of luck with cervix finding!!!
