Hello all you lovely ladies,

i have just got back from my mid cycle scan on clomid and metformin as i didnt make any follicles last month and i am so chuffed i have made three 16mm follicles and they have just given me an injection to release them, so we have got some serious BD to do tonight and tomorrow and then it will just be waiting for those 2 horrid weeks to find out the outcome!!!!

Im over the moon as my chances of having another baby looked really bleak last month and this was mmylast chance so im really excited that its worked.

Iam new to this site, so just wanted to say Hi!

I had my first scan today after starting Clomid for the first time. It wasnt brilliant news that I received today other than that I had 1 follicle that was 13mm in one ovary and 3 follicles that were 10, 10 & 9! in the other. The docs said to me that they need to be at least 18mm to ovulate, therefore I was pleased to hear that they gave you an injection at 16mm!!

There's hope for me yet!

They have also increased my dose to 75mg next month. I a currently on 50mg.

I'm soooo excited for you. 3 folicles at 16 mm is very good sign. Your chances are looking supper-good.
What injection were you given? I have experience with pregnyl injections. They give you nasty pregnancy like symptoms about 3 days after applying. So do not be allarmed and do not test too early. With this injection you will have high HCG hormone in your body for about 2 weeks, so after injection you should get BFP and you might not be prego. Give it about 16 days.
