hi all,
got the results, i have 'suggestive pcos' well i've always been suggestive lol. i'm not too upset as at least i know what's going on and also that i know that i was tested for this a few years ago when i was 3 stone lighter and it came back negative.(i suppose i must've had it but mild?) i've been lucky enough have regular periods until now and to have my 2 boys and a pregnancy, and i know from the ov strips that i definitely ovulated in february. i explained this to my lovely doc who said that it's the weight which has messed with the hormones and obviously caused my missed period.i'm having a scan on friday then she will give me some medicine to help me ovulate but not clomid. anyway i stressed that i really wanted to conceive asap and she said she would help me. i have to work on my weight which i am doing, i was slim my whole life until about 3 years ago when i split with my husband and the weight piled on. at least i can do something about this, and at least the dr is helping me fast.
phew no early menopause!
sorry for the long post, just a bit relieved.
