Hi girls, well the line was definitely a line, still fairly faint though and i have looked at it about 40 times today even though I went for a course at work!! So Im guessing thats a BFP for me, sorry cant get too excited this whole experience fills me with a mixture, of fear, dread and excitment all at once, only due to my previous 2 m/c'. Which I realise must seem a bit strange for some of you who are trying and keep getting BFN's and Im sorry to not be tooo excited. in a way I wish I was back when i got my first BFP last June when I was sooooo excited and got magazines and books etc, now I feel i shouldnt even open my "what to expect when your expecting" book in case i jinx things, and am terrified to even go near the expecting page, so i may stay with you girls for a bit if thats OK. I am giving my body another three weeks as both times i m/ced i started bleeding at 6-7 weeks so if I can get past then, then I will start to beleive it is happening!!

I had 2 MC before I got my BFP this time and like you I was so scared of being excited about it. What you're feeling is normal.

well I am now a serial tested have done 7 now its getting a bit ridiculous!!! did 6 over 2 days, where the lines are all faint but getting darker, then driving home yest had to buy some bread and popped to waitrose( bit pricy but only place nearby) and they only had these clearblue digital, well I never used this one before so did it this morning and its so weird seeing the "word" on a window, but now I want to know if the lines on a normal one are darker so am thinking of going to the chemist to buy a cheaper one now god I will be broke by the end of this month!!!! lol

Congratulations Rachel!!! We are all in the same boat when we find out that we have got that sought after BFP...nervous...scared to be excited! I remem telling my friend at 7wks and she said to me was I not excited, but I was sooo scared to let myself believe that I was actually going to have a baby incase I jinx myself!lol Only now am I really starting to enjoy this pregnancy, but you never stop worrying is littlin doing ok in there! Fingers crossed for you that all goes well!

My BFP started with a very faint line (almost questionable) but got better over the next few days.

I miscarried at 9 weeks early January so I know exactly what you mean about the excitement being diluted with fear and not daring to believe it or wanting to jinx it incase the fall is even harder. I'm a total worrier and don't think I'll shake it off, but I hope for you this settles as the weeks pass and you can enjoy yourself, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for that this one has a much happier -roughly 8lb - outcome for you!

i totally understand you feeling the way you do (i've had a m/c and i imagine it must be quite scary when you fall again). Fingers crossed this one is here to stay. You're more than welcome to stay with us girls and hopefully some of your baby vibes will pass on to us.
