hi, went to have an ultrasound which is always a bit sad when there's no baby to look at. anyway i was BUSTING for the loo. the scan lady checked me out,told me to have a wee (hurray) then did a transvaginal scan, you know where they stick a condom on a stick to have a look inside you. she told me that my ovaries look fine, not big which is what a ladies with pcos may look like. she said i had loads of eggs (i don't know how she knows because i can't see what she's looking at) she said that the lining of my uterus was thick so i must be about to come on, AND she told me that I had recently ovulated from my right ovary. how amazing is that? so the good news for you who are still following this is that i'm ovulating, there's eggs and the ovaries look normal. so she doesn't think i have pcos just that my weight may have affected my hormones this month. anyway i have made an appt with the dr, to see what she thinks of the results. i'm so relieved that everything seems in working order.

How amazing that they can see all that. So pleased for you, what a relief! When i had my scan after my m/c the lady said my ovaries and uterus looked normal and i wished i asked more questions but was a little upset at the time.
Wish i could get scanned regularly so i could see when the time is ripe...hee hee, maybe taking my obsession a little to far!!

I am so pleased for you, hopefully it will put your mind at ease a bit, I had the same after my m/c's and ask what they could see on my ovaries and found it reassuring too, I am also overweight and struggle to lose it specially when trying and then getting pg, good luck hun with the ttc and weight loss it willl be worth itin the end xxrachx
