reading your message, it felt like i could've written it!
I m/c end of last nov. Have been kind of trying again but this month am wanting to get it right. I've just bought ov kits for first time. Today i'm on cd 12 and have tested since 10th. When i actually got pg i worked out i must've fell on 9th/10th of a 28 day cycle.Anyhoo, since m/c the 28 day cycle has gone right out the window and they vary from 30 to 35. Think i may have started ov testing a bit early but don't want to miss it! We were thinking about sperm meets egg (sme) plan that Rach mentions (google it for info) but felt it might be a bit much but if we don't have any joy will give it a go, if OH agrees of course, he's all for relaxed, laid back approach (ggrrrr!).
How many sticks are in your pack? I've got the clearblue ones with 7 in so may need more if i ov late, but will just keep going till i get the surge. Why don't you start from tomorrow, i'm sure that'd be about right. I really wish i was pregnant now, really thought i would be by now and due date 20th June. Sometimes feel quite panicky about it but actually feel quite calm about it at the mo, and think it's down to the ov tests.

Good luck hon (sorry for uber long msg, i'm a waffler!) x x x

Can anyone help! I do truly want to become pregnant again! I lost a baby before christmas and had to go in for an induced miscarraige (bit complicated to explain!)
My periods are completly messed up now from that! My first period after christmas came on the 15th Feb, then after that 37 days and after that 41 days!!!
I'm trying to not to be obsessive but I do want to be pregnant now if I'm honest!!!.....This morning I've been and bought an ovulation kit but I'm really unsure when to start testing and how accurate they are! 'm scared of missing the surge! but then if I go with just the testing in my head I keep thinking I might miss my chance this month!!!and because I'm on day 11 and I dont really know when I'm going to come on i.e whether my period is going to be more like a normal 30 day period I could leave it all too late!!!!

Can anyone shed a bit of light before I go insane!!! Jude x

Hi thats a real tricky one! Me myself have still been having a period but it has moved from 28/30 days to at least 37/41. But if you haven't been having periods I would speak to your doctor!
The only thing you can do is start taking your temp and around the time you think you're ovulating start testing with ovualtion sticks every other day! It is quite costly but I felt it was well worth it - I did try and save money but they all came back negative so I reckon better investing in the clearblue!!

Good luck Jude

Hi Jude,
I am in exactly the same boat! Miscarrried beginning of November 07 and af has been all over the place ever since! My last period lasted 3 weeks then a day or 2 after it stopped i got a smiley face on my clearblue opk- really hope we've caught this month but really trying not to get my hopes up!

I've tried using the cheap opk's before but actually found that I never got a proper positive (even though I must of ov'd cos i got my bfp) so I decided to pay the extra and use the clearblue digi ones, even I can't mis-read them!!

I also went to the doctors last week as I was worried about crazy periods, she thinks it's most likely just my body adjusting but is going to do some tests for any infection etc to put my mind at ease...fingers crossed it'll be fine.

Good luck and I really hope we all get our bfp's very soon!

I know, 6 months feels like ages and it's so frustrating! I'm on 2ww at the moment, got until sunday/monday before I can test.
Had a few symptoms but am really trying not to get my hopes up as for the past 6 months I have had some kind of prengnancy symptom!! Its horrible getting your hopes up every month then being disappointed!

I'm trying to think to myself this month that even if we've not been lucky at least I know I'm ovulating. And at least we both know that we can get pregnant- it's just a matter of time!!!

Good luck with the tests, if their any good let us know... I'll save dh a fortune on digi tests!!

take care, and good luck!

Hey Jenny

I've picked up some ovualtion sticks from Asda not clearblue but still £10 for 5 - as of yet still reading negative so unsure whether I've tested too early - (on day 16-but last months cycle was 41 days)

Good luck too!

I'm back at the doctors on Friday so hopefully they will shed a bit of light. They have been saying go with the flow but 6 months have passed now and I feel I have every right to want to be pregnant now!

Get on the web and get a batch of them internet opt and hpt strips...think I paid £15 for 50 mixed bundle off health matters.co.uk. I used the opt from cd10 and bd from cd10 until 2 days after ov. Are you doing the temps? I charted mine on Fertility Friend.com. This was after 12mths of doing the relaxed approach and getting nowhere, but tearing my hair out!lol 3mths of charting/temps etc and on the 3rd month I did the Sperm Meets Egg Plan too and I got my BFP!
As your AFs are all over the place the opt are your best bet. Count 14/15 days of a luteal phase back from the day your AF starts and thats when you ovulated last. I got my BFP on an internet cheapie hpt strip off the interent 15dpo...night time wee...so they work!

Good luck! Sharon 24+3wk pink bump xxx

Hi all

I thought I'd just let you all know that yesterday I got a positive result back from an ovualtion stick. I know it doesnt mean I'm going to be pregnant but at least my body is doing what it should be and as its day 18, its becoming more like a normal cycle.
The only bizzare thing I can say is this week I've become a bit distant from it all and started to think I'm sick pf being obsessed - I'd literally spoken to my sister on the way home and said not bothered at the moment and so I couldnt believe my eyes when I got a positive result.
Its a long road but hopefully on the right track now!

Thank you to all who responded!

I'm really pleased for you... It's wierd but sometimes you just need the reassurance of knowing your at least ovulating to give you hope- I know it works for me!

Just trying to get through the awful 2ww now, only 3 days to go and I've managed not to test at all yet!! think i'll do one tomorrow morning though!!

Good luck and I'l keep an eye out for you on the 2ww!

Thanks

I know its really hard when it comes to testing (I have to admit to have a positive ouvlation stick has been a result)but I'm not even thinking of the end result yet!!!

I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for ya!

Keep us informed

news. Think I need to have a go with the ov sticks next month. Was worried that I'd get a bit obsessed and like you I suppose I have a concern that I might not be.. but I suppose there is only one way to find out!

Good luck and best wishes

Hi all

Thank you for all taking the time to reply!

Sorry I'm only just replying now but been at work. Well I was advised to start the ovualtion sticks every other day so I started them on Thursday (possibly a little early) but want to be sure to catch the moment! I've also ensured we have tried a little anyway just incase the sticks don't work! (i'm sure they will but just a bit nervous might miss another opportunity) I still according to the sticks wasn't ovulating yesterday and today I'm on day 16.The only thing that concerns me is do the sticks go back to negative (in other words - could I have missed the surge)
Thank you for all taking the time to reply its really helping me to know there are people that understand! Baby dust to all!*+*+*+*+**
Thanks Jude x
Ps I will check out the website sperm meets egg!

i had my last m/c in Jan and like you have been trying since, I found this site called sperm meets egg plan, (google it!!) this i think is a really good way of not missing the time, if you follow it carefully and (it is tiring with lots of bding!!lol), my periods were all over the place since Jan but got a bfp last week and hoping this one is different, i was using the s m e (as some of us on here call it) and caught in three months of trying so good luck hun hope it works for you or gives you a guidance, take care and lots of baby dust ***
