It took me almost a year to get pregnant for the first time. I lost that baby soon after we found out. Shortly after that I got pregnant again with my son. I know how frustrating it is. I'm going threw it again trying to get pregnant with our third. I heard that if you take prenatal vitamins that they help. I don't know what it is about them that gets your body ready for a baby. But I hope that this helps. Good luck and maybe don't try so hard.

there is still time yet, not to put a downer on things but it took me and my hubby 5 years! We didn't go to the doctor straight away though till after 4 years as we didn't like discussing our sex life! However when we did we were so glad. We got referred etc etc and lo and behold i got caught! I think it was because we relaxed and didn't try to get pregnant if you know what i mean and it really helped. Not sure if this post will help but if not at least it lets you know that if after 5 years of trying we can have a baby then anyone can. My little one is 1 in 4 weeks and its come round so quick it's unreal!

welcome to the mad house.

I think we all ask ourselves this question each month & 9 times out of 10, the answer is...nothing, there is nothing wrong with us other than the fact that we drive ourselves crazy each month symptom spotting, peeing on a stick & looking into our knickers all the time LOL.

It just seems like some people take longer to catch than others, me & you & many others on here being a handful of those people

I think the best approach to take is to stay relaxed about it (easier said than done as we all know) & although I hate hearing people say this, but it's true, "it happens when it happens"

Most doctors say try for 12 to 18 months before going to see them. Then is still nothing they may do tests ie sperm count, see if you're ovulating etc etc.

You've definately come to the right place for support & advice (& a good laugh if nothing else). Remember, every one is in the same boat, so never feel that your alone & that you're the only one.

Hope this helps.

take care
Caz xx
