"Hey emma!!!! " Posted by juderoths 17 June at 11:30
Hi Emma
I know how you feel, I have a 4 year old and decided last year I really wanted another. We got off to a false start last year and unfortunately ended up loosing a baby. So at the begining of this year I began trying again now my cycle is all over the place, I was told not to try too much but I understand you can't help it. Anyway the upshot of it was my ovualtion happened a week later than I expected, I did buy ovulation sticks expensive but for me one month and I've been caught!!! its early days for me. But I didnt ovulate till day 19. I would recommend getting the ovulation sticks and try them every other day from day 12 it will be an expensive month but if you can pin point it and know your ovulating you'll feel better. I felt the same I thought I wasn't ovualating but it could be happening early or late.
Good luck Jude xxx

"No probs emma!!" Posted by juderoths 17 June at 15:02
Glad I could restore some hope for you again, I do remember going to see my doctor in a hystercal state wondering why I hadn't got pregnant yet and I asked the question....might I not be ovualting and she said if you're having period you're definately ovualting its just people do it at different times and its not always set at around day 14 like the average.
Out of interest how many days is your cycle???
Jude xx
I got caught on the first month so keep positve!!!!

"Try this website...." Posted by juderoths 18 June at 10:53
Hi Emma
This website has an ovulation calculator - it did accurately point out the week I was to try, but I would still test every other day from earlier in your cycle to be sure.

Good luck

"Go and see the dr" Posted by sam280597 16 June at 19:15
try not to worry it about it, just go and see the dr and see what advise he can give you.
Your temps may not rise, but don't think the worst. try and stay positive. xxxxx

"Hi" Posted by 1979bea 16 June at 15:46
Hi Emma
The only thing I can suggest is that you see your GP. They will look into things if it's been 18 mths as I was in the same position and the first tests they did were blood ones and a scan to see if I was ovulating. It might be different for you as your periods are regular (mine were all over the place) but I would deffo suggest that and even though you conceived naturally before, having a baby or just being pregnant can apparently change your body and its hormone levels so it might be that one of them has been out of sync since then. Its quite common to have trouble trying even tho you've had natural pregnancy apparently.
Hope you get things sorted soon.
Take care Bea
