"How would you annonce pregnancy if you (one day) got bfp?"

I've got a confession to make. I don't know if I'll ever get BFP, and nore I ever experienced one. But I do secretly think of what would I do if I ever got my dreamed BFP.
What you think of this one. I like to regullary change desktop pictures on our PC. Every week a new one. It is great fun and my dh loves it. We remember where we've been, or how our relatives look like. So I thought that I could get a picture of a 12 week scan and put it on desk top. Actually, (another confession), I've just tried it. To be perfectly honest, it look like a little bean, nowhere near like a baby. I don't think my dh would know what it is immediatelly. It could be funny to watch his reaction. I wonder how long would it take him to get it. lol lol
If you also sometimes think about how would you announce, share your secret here. I won't tell anyone. lol

I remember imagining if I got my BFP how would I tell DH...went through a couple of different scenarios. I found out on a sat night, DH was away until late, so I waited until the Sun morning to tell him...I was up at 6.30am, sprinkling baby dust on my Clearblue digi before I peed on it!lol

What I did was - go onto the bbc parenting pregnancy calendar...the one where you type in your due date and it comes up on the top of the page...congratulations your 5wks pregers..your baby is due on such and such a date! Print this off, put it in a wee box with a ribbon and hand it to DH at 7am after you do your clearblue digi. They are a great test as it says PREGNANT and he is less likely to get confused!lol bless him! When I gave DH the presi box...he just looked from the preg calendar sheet - to me and back again....shock that we had actually got our BFP after 15mths of ttc! He kept saying are you sure?!!! Then I had to show him the digi test just to confirm it for him!lol Even with that it still took us a couple of weeks for it all to sink in!

Sending extra sticky baby dust to you all! ***baby dust*** Hugs...Sharon 31wk pink bump xx

haha what you just said about your husband made me chuckle, i know a woman a nurse mind you whos about to pop and she has 2 small sons, theyve been asking her whats inside and she was too shy to tell them it was a baby so she just said she ate too much mashed potato! As it was growing bigger she eventually told them it was a baby and hoped they wouldnt ask how it got in there. Aw so sweet. I did just show my hubby the stick with the BFP on it, with the box and the 'if its positive' bit highlighted and he still didnt get the hint. I just said yes its true. men so slow sometimes honestly.

senario's out in our head...here's mine...

1) Completely lose my head & run to DP shouting OMG I'm pregnant!

2) Give him the hpt gift wrapped.

3) When he offers me a glass of wine, I'll say "sorry I can't drink in my condition"

4) Sit dp down as if I was gonna have a really deep & serious conversation, string it out & drop "I'm pg" somewhere in the conversation & see if he realises.

5) Errrm what else, go out for a picnic & tell him that way.

6) You know those late night chats that happen when you're lying in bed, in the dark talking jibbersih - tell him then.

Not that I've given this much though

& anyway - you WILL get your BFP, you deserve it & stay positive 'cos it will happen

tc Caz xx
