I would not worry, it can take longer than that sometimes to get pregnant. However do go to the doctor just because if there is a problem it might take some time to be refered and do all the tests. I was the same as you and got pregnant the month I went for the tests. Sadly I had a m/c but now they refered me to a fertility clinic (because I am 32 and have pcos) and my apointment is on September. Fingers crossed everything will work out and all of us here will get our bfp and have healthy babies!!

Lots of babydust to everyone

worried,

ive been trying for 13 months but i was on the pill for 12 years and i think it took about 5 months for it to come out of my system, well my periods became regular and stuff... are you periods regular like clockwork? have you come off the pill aswell?

reading things on the internet they say once your periods are ok take it from 1 to 1/2 years before you go to the docs. Im going to leave it until end of the year/new year before we both go to get checked over if nothing has happened by then.

Take care

Odelle x
"Try 2 years?"

I've been off the pill now for almost 2 yrs, but was on it for 10 yrs. We've been trying for a while now and as i see all my friends falling pregnant with no real problems, its really starting to upset me. I'm sat here now with a rum and coke because i haven't come on this month and have been having all the syptoms of pregnancy, sickness, sore breasts and going to the toilet loads. but i've just done a clearblue test and it was negative, it's broke my heart as i was convinced it was.. What shall i do? i'm so scared to go to the doctors incase its bad news. please help?

went to gp after 6 months and was refered for tests after 1 yr ... nothing medically wrong .... was supposed to start IUI treatment in march this yr but went for appt and was told will have to wait until 3 yrs of tring.

if its getting u down and u have any concerns go to ur gp and have a talk might put ur mind at rest.

good luck and i hope u and all the ladies here (me included) get BFP soon xxx

even though there's nothing to worry about because it can take time to get pg, you've got nothing to lose by talking to the dr. i did when i had been trying for months and he referred me to the hospital but that takes time, then i had scan of ovaries and my then dh had his swimmers tested. everything was fine luckily and i fell pregnant naturally. so just for peace of mind, i would as it takes time to get a hospital appt anyway. it's up to you hun. hopefully you'll be pg before u get your appt!!
good luck
