What if the day you miss out was the day you release the egg
this migght have summit to do with trying and not getting preg.
We tried for 1.5 years, and the month we concieved we did 1 thing differently
had sex EVERY day the whole fertile week!!!

I have the same concern, it does on many sites say as Sharon says below that every other day is optimum and other opinions including Zita West is that it does not make a difference to sperm count...I do find it a bit strange that I may need to have sex less often to get pregnant and I've no chance of convincing my other half!

"There was" Posted by lisat7 17 July at 09:59
a lady on The Baby Channel the other day who said that it is a myth that sperm is "stronger" if you only have sex every other day. She said do it as often as possible as the more sperm that is up there (yes, she actually said "up there"), the more likely it is that one will successfully penetrate the egg!
Have fun trying!

"Hi" Posted by shotofjd 16 July at 23:15
Hi there.
I was just nosing back on here and noticed your question. I'm sure I've read somewhere that every day isn't good practice as it won't produce strong and healthy sperm. Something like every other day I think it said is best.
Good luck!

I think I've heard every day isn't good too. I think its more to do with quantity if you wait - makes sense I suppose! I think it's even more important that you don't do it every day if there are sperm count probs (which to be honest, not everyone knows about anyway) - I personally think the best bet is like SMEP, every other day from CD8 and then do it 3 times in a row when you ovulate and leave one night and then one last go. I must admit, we haven't done SMEP due to DH being sooo tired and me getting home from work when he's asleep but I know someone that has and it worked the first time!
Good luck all Bea x

the SMEP as we tried it once and it worked! There's less stress involved too.
