Has anyone had a successful iui?

My husband and i have been followed through Nhs for fertility pbls, we had numerous tests for the past year but now they can not help us anymore we have to go private as I already had a child 5 years ago. our little miracle!who came naturally, as I was again back then under a consultant after 4 years of trying unfortunately it is happening again it has been 4 years of trying and still nothing.
Now they are saying next step is IUI, but it will cost at least £2000 and 20% chance of success.
Has anyone been through IUI and what was your experience.

I've just finished my 6th IUI with no success. It is just now, as I'm waiting to undergo IVF I've learned that combination of IUI/IVF with acupuncture, increases chances of consieving by upto 50%. Look into it if you can, it is really interesting. There are some testimonies on YOUTUBE as well.
Anyway, as far as know, one cycle of IUI is arround £500. Make sure you're not being ripped off, check the prices elswere too. £2000 is nearly price of one IVF cycle, that's too too much!!!
