"Feeling down "

Well I'm feeling really down today. I found out last night that Jon's brothers gf is pregnant they have only been together a couple of months so came as a shock to everyone. I know I should be happy for them (And I am) I'm just I'm finding it really hard to show. For any of you that don't know me I had a medical termination last year at 17 weeks and unfortunately had to deliver my baby. We have been trying ever since and I am back in hospital in a couple of weeks for another op to check everything is ok. I can't help but think that should be us - I know what I am feeling maybe wrong but I can't help it.

To top it all off she is a heavy smoker and drinks quite abit, her last pregnancy with her previous parter she drank and smoked the whole way through. I'm worried that I won't be able to be around her at social events etc as I may end up saying something I'll regret later so the only option I can see is avoid her for a while. There won't be any loved lost as I've only met her a handful of times anyway.

I think I just need someone's opinion for an outside view as I'm the sort of person how wears he heart on her sleeve and I don't seem to be dealing with this as well as I probably should

I can completley see why you're having these thoughts, there is no right or wrong way to feel so don't feel what you are thinking is wrong. We all deal with things in our own way (mine would be the same as you). Life just doesn't seem fair & I know it's not what you want to hear at the mo but we go through the bad to appreciate the good - & the good being your little angel at the end of this journey.
As for John's bro's gf, just stay out of her way for a while like you said & concentrate on you & your appointment coming up.
