omg hi Ashley! Stranger what fantastic news, so happy there is hope for you, and i'm gonna keep everything crossed for you!!!!! cant wait to hear how your getting on,

I've not been around for a while as ttc had to be on hold while i had my boobs redone as i had a capsular contraction. but i'm all done now all healed and back trying!! Found out i have pcos but have been doing a healthy eating plan and my cycles have been 28 days so thats good, they were 30-34 days before, so i'm on cd 13 today been BD and temping so fingers crossed. It's been 3 years for us now so our fertility doctor has applied for funding for IVF so i may be joining you on the ivf journey hopefully, hopefully you will have your bfp by then tho!!

Excellent news about your father in law, things are looking up, you deserve it

good luck Ashley, hope to speak to you soon

Hey Jo,

I was only thinking about you the other day glad you are back hun. Wow great news about the funding hun we've had to pay for the whole lot and omg!!!! Good news about the cycle change lets hope its not a long stay good luck hun x x

Any way an update from me....Had egg collection Monday had 14 eggs so high risk of ohss but so far so good just drinking loads to flush everything out. After they collected everything they needed from both of us *wink wink* they informed us they didnt think ivf would work for us as Jon's swimmers weren't as expected (Totally shocked as back in april he was fine, he's had a viral infection last week so maybe thats had an effect). They advised we have ICSI, this is where they inject a single sperm into each egg they only thing not all eggs survive the injection. And it was a £1000 more!?!? Will be worth it if it workes

Got the call to say 9 survived and fertilised!!!!! OMG so happy we will either go for transfer tomo or sat they will phone tomo to let me know.

Please please please let it work!!!

Will keep you informed x x

oh its soooo nice to be back here!!! I've really missed it, and the whole madness of ttc

Omg sounds exciting Ashley, fingers crossed!!!! My OH had 2 swimmers tests and both were really different the 1st 1 was really low count and the 2nd was brilliant better than normal, so it must change all the time, there was loads of other stuff they said too motility or something but i couldnt take it all in lol (if you'll pardon the punn!) sorry lol.

omg i dont know what we will do if we get turned down for funding theres no way we will be able to afford to pay! But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, My friend is 38, she paid for 3 goes of IVF costing her £18,000 then fell pregnant naturally after the last go failed! But she said she would spend that again if it meant having a child, she's due in 2 months and so excited!! So that gives hope, obviously you have your age on your side so fingers, toes, eyes arms everything crossed for you except legs! just for a couple of days then i'll cross them too lol.

really really really really really hope this is your time, cant wait for your update.

chat soon xxx
