I knew she was on her way! Oh well at least it was a short cycle rather than a long one for nothing!

Onto the next one I guess. This month I'm going to take agnus castus to see if that can help to regulate my cycle again.

Thanks girls!

Yesterday my normal cool exterior cracked and I got myself into a right state!! AF coming means that I'll be passing my due date for the baby I lost in March without being pregnant again I know I shouldn't have set myself a target etc but all i wanted was to be pregnant again before that dreaded date.

So anyway I scuttled off to my GP and blubbed away about how my cycles are sooooo irregular now and sometimes by luteal phase is only 8-9 days which surely doesn't allow implantation to occur properly?

Luckily my GP is lovely and she said that even though it's only been 8 cycles since I lost the baby she's willing to try and help now rather than waiting until it's been a year which she's supposed to!! Yay!!!!

What she's decided is that I'll have blood tests on days 3-5 and 19-21 for the next 2-3 cycles. The results of these will tell her if I'm ovulating properly, what my egg reserve is and whether I have any other sort of problem that could be contributing to my irregular cycle.

After she's assessed what my body is doing she'll give me something to regulate my cycle or even kick start ovulation if I need that.

She said to try the agnus castus that I've started this cycle and she says I should look into altering my diet to avoid high GI foods - which I have no idea about so I'll be on google later!!!

Sorry this is a long post girls - I'm just feeling so positive that at least someone is willing to listen to me moan and is going to try and help! She even said that in her experience just the fact that someone is monitorring a cycle can relax a woman enough to make her conceive - FINGERS CROSSED!!!
