Af came....4 days late

Hi ladies...i havent posted for a week or so....mainly cos i was getting my hopes up and didnt want to jinx it! Silly i know, but i was quietly confident as i'd never been that late before and felt really tired/sick. I was holding off testing till i was a week late, but in the end there was no need for one as i got my answer! I feel like my heart breaks every month when the same thing happens.....

...So, its been a hard decision but thats us having a wee break from ttc for a few months, at least till after Christmas. The whole thing has kind of taken over our lives and we need to have some time together without temps, opk's and cycle days for a while. We have only been married for a year and have been ttc for most of it so maybe we just need to relax and let it happen in its own time. If theres still no BFP in a few months we'll start the whole process again and see how we go from there.

Im gonna keep an eye on the forum to see how you are all getting on...and i'll keep you posted on any news i may have.

the desire to get pg will never go away but perhaps if i take some time away from focusing on it then it might be easier.

that af turned up for you.. maybe a good break will do you both some good especially if you have been trying since getting married, i suppose you could celebrate together that again and have time for just the both of you now and forget everything else.. wish you both all the best and see you after christmas then x x

I know quite a few people that take a break away from the obsessing that we all do........and then it happens, they get their BFP!! so i hope that it happens for you hun :+)

I read your title so fast I didn't see the " came "....was getting all excited for you!

Hubby and I are trying again Christmas/start of the new year so we can be ttc buddies together.....you may just find if you try to relax without making it your main focus for the next couple months then you may get your BFP at last!
