Reaching the 6month mark soon

ok so this is the 6month but only the 5th cycle me and my oh have been ttc. I was just wondering when the time should be that i venture to my GP?

i temp chart now, for three months, and have discovered that i ovulate quite late in my cycle and it changes every month. I Only came off bc 6months ago but i thought my body should have sorted itself out by now. Do you think my gp would give me any meds to help with this only after 6months of ttc?

Any ideas?

Oh and i hope you are all doing well, ive been floating in and out of the forum just not writing anything trying to become less obsessed, its not really working but my oh seems to think i mention it less...... Hope your all doing great in what ever part of your cycles your in

Nice to see that someone else in a similar situation as me! I came off the pill 4 months ago,haven't had a period and have been ttc but no BFP. I have already been to my GP as I was very worried after 3 months of no periods and my doc did a blod test to check hormone levels which showed my oestrogen levels to be low and my LH (lutenizing hormone that stimulates ovulation) was very low also.

I'm obviously not ovulating which is why I haven't had a period/no BFP. It sounds like you are ovulating though which is a good sign, and remember that it can take normal healthy couples up to a year to conceive.Keep your chin up and maybe visit the doctor after 6 months if your really worried but if your ynder 35 then you probably won't get refered to a specialist on the NHS unless you've been ttc for a year without success!
