Hi

Firstly, congrats altho you may well have your instant family by now! As for comments made earlier (which were in my opinion cruel and unnecessary!) i can tell you with certainty as a midwife that twins can be born at 40 weeks gestation without complications with the placenta! in fact with all pregnancies unless there is a medical indication for it a pregnancy can run to full term plus 11 days (some trusts vary this a little). It is however purely because of your size that a woman is unlikely to go full term with a multiple pregnancy.
You are prob likely to have a section, this is what happens in my unit, altho it would be planned in advance and under a consultant. If the little darlings have arrived congrats, you will need all the help you can, I have twins myself and it is hard work, but you will be amazed at how you cope! x

You are not pg with triplets

There is NO way that you are 39 weeks pregnant with triplets. They won't let you go past 37 weeks with triplets and 38 weeks with twins due to concerns with placentas and growth of babies. Also, you can't know that you are having them naturally. 99% of triplets are c-section births and most doctors will not let you deliver naturally. Obviously you are lying for attention...

Mmm

funny what you have just said about twins... they run in my family and my mum had twins and she went to 40 weeks! It is true that they are very cautous with the placenta but if all is well they will let you go untill you naturally go into labour. and delivery of triplets vaginally is possible and is done but only if there are no complicationis with the pregnancy adn it has to be under a consultants supervision. they will have everything set for a section just incase one is needed.

Don't worry my dear

You know we are a result of our thought, so i will advice you not to be scared. I'm really sure that everything is gonna be fine for you. Just think about these girls and the joy they will give to you. Be positive every moment!

Good luck

Hey

You have, im sure by now had your babies and i hope all went well, would love to know how you got on???

For anyone reading this tho, who is also scared to give birth, i was in exactly the same position!! TERRIFIED infact!!... I need to tell you my story tho as there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I went into labour 2 days before my due date, (at 10am) stayed at home all the way through with very mild back ache, only went to the hospital because my waters broke at 8pm, i got to the hospital at 9pm and needed to push as soon as i got in the room (it must have been instinct)!! They examined me and i was fully dilated.

She hooked up the gas and air for me but i didnt use it., i had no pain at all but still having contractions, (altho they were so painless, i wasnt sure when to push) 2 hrs later, my gorgeous daughter was born 7lb 11. (she did get stuck tho and was in a bit of distress so they had to cut me The healing process of the episiotomy were by far the worst experience of pregnancy and labour!!

I just wanted to share my story so that others could try and relax and be as positive as possible. Hope this helps

xXx

Stretchmarks: pls help...

I am pregnant and want to know if anyone has had any luck with skin care for stopping stretchmarks? I have heard that some are not safe to use and can harm my baby but I am so confused by which ones are ok and actually work to prevent stretchmarks, as I happily grow into my 9 month bump!

Solution for stretchmarks!

Hey! Congrats on your pregnancy, I am 3 months pregnant and have had 8 girlfriends all use this product called belli skin care, Elasticity Belly Oil that helps to prevent stretchmarks. Their doctor told them it was the safest to use, then I saw it on a current affair the other night as well. I read up all about in on their website and it talks heaps about what is safe, really interesting. None of my friends got ANY stretchmarks at all and swear by this for stopping stretch marks. I have only just started using it but so far so good! I ordered all of their other skin care for pregnancy as well from www.belliskincare.com.au and LOVING it. Wish you all the best for the months ahead, we are together in the skin stretch J dont forget to join the VIP thing on their site before you order, you get a discount that way, i forgot myself but definitely worth it you get 15% off. Good luck.
