I must admit that when i gave birth i tried doing the water thing but i found it so uncomfatble. As 4 it supposingly easing the pain, well thats a load of B******ks.. Not only that but i found once i was out i could move around a bit, try using a birthing ball, it helps with the pelvis and and ease's the amount of pressure down there. Hope everything goes well, & just remember u can still ask 4 a water birth, try it and if u dont like it u can still get out!!! After all who would want 2 get on the wrong side of a woman giving birth? lol

Hi,

Im considering a water birth, but would like as much info on it as possible before making a final decision.

Have you ever had one? If so, would you mind sharing your experience with me & would you recommend one?

Much Appreciated x

Hi there, i think i want a water birth too, not due until march next year but i've already been thinking about it!
a friend at work had one and she raved about it, she also didn't tear at all and insists it is due to the fact that the water makes your skin more elastic??? not too sure if i beleive her or not but thought i would share it with you.

xx

Hi there. My heart was set on a water birth and tried it but at the time it didnt help me like I thought - the water was too cold (I love those terribly hot burn your legs bath) and I decided it wasnt my thing but as it turned out it didnt make much difference because I ended up having a caesar anyway...Test out the water and see if it helps! You can always say No.
