how long is it b4 u start gettin fat and havin stretch marks 2 ov my sisters are covered but 1 has none but she has diff mam so we have a high chance ov getting them or not?

Didn't start getting stretch marks until she started using stretch mark creme!

I think you may be right about it running in the family, my mum had quite bad ones and so did my sister, which I reckon means I will too

It seems that me and my sis have followed my mum and my friends have followed their mums too (some with none and some with loads) - it deffo has summat to do with the genes of your mum (altho I'm no expert and there are probably cases where the daughter hasn't followed their mum).

Also I spent lots of money on expensive oils and cremes (incl Bio Oil and Clarins Oil) and I'm afraid it didn't work! It does help if you don't put on as much weight tho so just eat healthily (says she who is addicted to choc!). Good luck xx
