Hi there

This is my second, and I am learning from my mistakes last time. I put on lots of weight all the way through, so this time I decided to ignore my cravings, and reach for a smoothie (I will be so bored of them by the end!)I hate chocolate, and by 10 weeks the last time I was a confirmed 3 Cadbury's cream eggs a day person, and it didn't get any better!

Having said that, I am showing already, and haven't gained a pound - I have also had to tell my employer and friends because it is obvious that either I am eating too many pies or I am pregnant! The fact that I have stupidly agreed to do a swimathon in a fortnight may suggest it is the latter, ans (sickness permitting) I am doing 3 - 4 KM swimming per week!

Don't get very hung up on the weight, but try to keep a lid on it by saying no every so often.

If you are in the normal weight range you will eventually put on 20 - 35 pounds, and 10-15% of that is in the first trimester - so your gain is not catastrophic anyway

Hope you are doing well, and congratulations

Donna

Hiya everyone!

I am 10 weeks pregnant with my first child. I have all ready gained 6lbs and am constantly hungry! Has anyone else gained weight this early on. I am really worried that I will balloon throughout this pregnancy. It's also hard keeping it quiet with a tummy starting to stick out!! I would love to hear from someone in a similar position!!

Cheers, and good luck to you all!!

I'm only 5 weeks and have gained 7 pounds and have a small bump. I have no clothes that fit even. We also went ahead and told everyone. If something happens then it was meant to be that way. Was are thoughts.
