Being referred

Hi, I wonder if someone can offer some advice.

I went to the doctors the other week as I found out I was pregnant, I am overweight but have lost quite a lot of weight over the last year. Obviously not enough though as my doctor has told me he will need to refer me as I am still quite a bit overweight.

He didn't really explain what would happen at the referral or what it all meant.

i was wondering if anyone had experienced it at all?

Hi,
my friend has also been refered if your bmi is 35 or more you just get checked over for things like glucose etc.
My bmi is 34 so i just misssed it but still need to be careful

Thats weird though, I just checked my BMI and its not over 35. Oh well i'm sure its nothing to worry about I will just see what happens.
