I just had an ultra sound and they told me that my little girl is already 7lb 3oz. I'm worried about having a baby that is too big.

s this unhealthy?

Has anyone had this?

I heard 7lbs is the average weight. I just want her to be healthy and get a good start in life. I have only gained about 27lbs so far. Hope all is okay

Thanks for your comments.

My 1st was 9lb 9oz so wouldn't worry she was early and still very healthy.......Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy

On my 2nd they told me was going to have a 9-10 lb daughter this was at 37 weeks due to previous complications it ment being induced early........ She wieghed 6lb 9oz a tad smaller than expected .
The same happened on my 3rd needless to say i didn't believe it to much.

My daughter was 17 days late and had lost weight during those 17 days, but she was born 8lb and healthy. The doctors would say if anything was wrong, so DON'T WORRY!!!!
"Sounds ok to me!"

Sounds perfectly normal to me hunnie.
My son was over 8lb at full term, but like you said 7lb is about the average weight.
