it's a normal smear test and not a colposcopy (where they take a biopsy) then it is ok to BD

Good luck

Hi there, i'm from ttc forum

I've just had to book in for my annual smear test (had cancerous cells 4 years ago) and of course you need to have them mid cycle. I'm booked to go on cd14 and wanted to be doing lots of bd around then. I've read somewhere that you shouldn't have sex in the 24 hours before for obvious reasons (yuk!)so i will try and do it cd12 and skip cd13 but can you have sex after the smear, ideally i would like to be bd that night cos planning on going for an every other day approach during ovulation?!

Does anyone know?

Thanks girls
